Truth about prostitution and money in Europe
I live in the netherlands in front of a red light district. In the netherlands, there is a red light district in every average/big cities. Once i was at the local supermarket. Just before me, there were a prostitute at the cashier. She dropped some things on the cashier desk and the cashier operator announced the price. She looked into her coins, and she said she didn't have enough money. I saw on the cashier operator face some kind of pity. It was obvious she was a prostitute because she got dressed to go to the place, the guy knew it because it is the supermarket closest to the red light district. So the cashier operator let her go with all the products. Then, i paid my stuff in full like everytime.
I will speak in dollars because if you compare the euro currency to the price of living, it is like the US.
This guy was stupid. Prostitutes in the netherlands are very rich just like everywhere in Europe. I talked with one of my sex work neighbour. They use to do 250-500 dollars per day. It is easy, they use to have 10 customers in a full day and it is 50 dollars per customers for 30 minutes. Or they can earn 200 dollars for 1 hour (but it is very rare for them to get this kind of customer). It is more on the 500 dollars side. Then they have to pay their functional costs, the rent for their booth (900$/month) and pay their tax that s it. There is no pimps in the NL. So they are independent sex workers who pay tax, health insurance and pensions. They have an union and also privilege like free medical assistance. Police is always visiting the place. I never succeeded in knowing their monthly incomes but i guess a full time prostitute (5 days a week) will earn 5000 dollars net per month.
So lots of people say, they are victims and all of that things but they make a huge bunch of money. I heard from them they go on vacation in exotic countries or the french riviera.
Once i talked with another prostitute from Spain, and she told me she bought a house in Spain. So i understood she used to do big money as well. She paid it cash.
Actually prostitutes in Europe are not victims at all. In switzerland, prostitutes earn up to 12,000 dollars per month. I heard it on a Radio show about prostitution. This information has been given by a Red house owner.( i dont know if it is before or after tax, it looks like it is after tax because the owner said: "a full time prostitute in my establisment earn 12,000 dollars". In switzerland, tax is take directly from your salary before getting paid). In the netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and Spain, Prostitution is legal.
They use their money as capital investment later on to buy a business or they invest into university education.
By the way, when they will retire they will get pensions from the government just like another tax payer in NL.

Why would they lie about their income?

No surprise.
Yet, the goons will keep squealing that those prostitutes are victims.
Greed is for amateurs.
Knowledge without wisdom is a load of books on the back of an ass.
Scorn and mockery towards men in need is one of the reasons feminism is dying as we speak!.

Re: Truth about prostitution and money in Europe
Prostitues are not victims in my mind. I will NEVER pay anyone for sex nor will I receive money for it. I just wished everyone else worked the same way.
I don't even blame the prostitutes as much as I blame the people who support them. It's practically living on welfare, only they also get their sexual desires out at the same time.

@ Greyshades
It is not welfare. It is their choice. Some of them, travel to go to a country where prostitution is allowed. Women traffiking is kind of a fantasy. Otherwise they wouldnt be able to travel to point A to point B. I dont really understand the US version of the pimp. What i want to say. I don't know where the victims are here in Europe. They make way more money than any average guy in any office. They go on holidays to places that are not affordable to normal people.

They may well pay taxes, but only on the income they declare.
Meanwhile anyone but the Government living off the earnings of prostitution is prosecuted. When in need of a drink to fill the soul

Re: Truth about prostitution and money in Europe
I see nothing wrong in prostitution, especially when it's legalised. If it's legalised, there's less need for pimps, lower incidences of abduction, lower use of drugs and alcohol and less chance of catching something nasty. Some women (and men) have no qualms in selling their bodies, and why shouldn't they? Why is 'sex' such a dirty commodity to so many people? I for one couldn't do it but I see nothing wrong in it for those that find it an easy form of income.
