'Rush Limbaugh has drawn the ire of celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred, who sent a letter to the Palm Beach County state attorney requesting an investigation into whether the popular radio host should be prosecuted for calling a law student a “slut” and “prostitute” last week.


“Mr. Limbaugh targeted his attack on a young law student who was simply exercising her free speech and her right to testify before congress on a very important issue to millions of American women and he vilified her. He defamed her and engaged in unwarranted, tasteless and exceptionally damaging attacks on her,” Allred told POLITICO Friday afternoon. “He needs to face the consequences of his conduct in every way that is meaningful.”

Absolutely, I fully agree... but I was talking with relevant context of the 'slut' remarks he made. The OP alluded that the average woman who disagrees with that is a slut, whereas I said they may be feminists but not sluts.

Limbaugh has been disagreed with over the years by several factions of society over several topics, but the OP and myself were talking specifically about the "slut-Limbaugh" topic.

True, she may be a feminist but not necessarily so. Some feminists may even agree with him about some women being labeled a slut.

Bob, I appreciate your brotherly intervention, but I'm concerned with your fixation with 'sluts' and obsessively promoting a particular brand of politics. You obsess rigidly with a small parameter of issues which effect men, while ignoring more core issues? You are currently still a moderator and I believe your personal politics are leaving the membership wanting in reaffirming it's modern thrusting identity. Replaying a tired and archaic theme is not conducive to new recruits joining the movement towards better things, just reinforcing outdated stereotypes. Throw off those cobwebs!

What's of interest here is that such a law should be condemned heavily by the feminist movement, after all, it is giving unequal treatment to women - and we all know feminists "only want equality"...

So how come an iconic misandrist feminist is suddenly able to ignore inequality under the law when it benefits women OR affects men negatively?

Perhaps these feminists weren't being entirely honest when they said they they just want equality, eh?

No one who ever says that ever is! The "just" is a good give away.. If they "just" want something, then they would STFU as soon as they get it!

I cannot see the issue here either. When I read the title, I assumed what most would and that is that the feminist "Sluts" were attacking Limbaugh, as he is a conservative and the highest rating radio commentator in the US, I do believe. They would just love to get rid of him for just that or any reason. Feminists have demanded to being called sluts as they have reclaimed the word. That's from their own vapid mouths. I cannot see any issues with calling feminists precisely what they have demanded to being referred to.
Maybe we should rename them "Slut-Feminists" or better still the "Slut Feminist Movement", has a real ring to it and is more honest, just to demonstrate our appreciation for their ongoing efforts at ensuring that word is appropriately used and in correct context..

their is indeed a wellknown "sluts for choice" pro abortion forum that has been doing good business for many years..
