(I wish you guys would stop using the same phrases and ideas that the feminists use..) Every TV show shows men grovelling round women and women having expectations of men that men are supposed to live up to if they want a slice of the hairy axewound.. Thats why I only ever watch the TV if some flange has turned it on.. You know, all the folk here who sit down in front of Constipation Street, Bell Enders, or whatever other feminised drivel are obviously gluttons for punishment.. When it comes to films.. Well, Bugger me backwards and call me a gay boy!! You will be hard pressed to find anything in the "chick flick" genre that does not show the lady as the one with all the choices and theses choices primarily being which very rich and succesful stud, often with a reserved reluctance to actually have sex with her, she will choose to marry and live happily ever after.. The media throws out the shite people wanna see reflected and will pay for.. I have never been a fan of films or TV, in fact, I used to walk out of friends houses when I was younger the minute they turned on the idiot-lantern and suggested watching a film.. Life is for living, not for watching cheap imitations then going round moaning about it.. Shit does not need to be trodden in over and over again before you get the message its best avoided!!

TV programs? Basically every sitcom produced in N America is grounded in misandry. Dramas routinely feature pretty perky professional women triumphing over evil and ignorant men. Documentaries re-hash politically correct history and science. It really is a wasteland. Read a book, you'll thank yourself.

Its good to note on a site like this, all the examples etc.. but, its also good to know what can be done as a reaction to it.. I usually promote the idea that many problems go away on there own when ignored.. They go away because they dont get the attention that is in fact their lifeblood..

No, we have to watch this shit to fight it. We have to let people know we will not buy products advertised in this way or watch films or programmes made this way. Or read newspapers, magazines and books biased in this way.

I admit I am pessimistic about humans in general, and political activism in general. My view is that the majority of people prefer believing lies to accepting hard truths. If the day comes that feminism is finally dead and buried I wouldn't be surprised if some other silly "ism" takes its place. Television is a fantastic medium, and has shown us some great things, but commercial tv is the same as other mass media, the bottom line comes first, which means pandering to the mob. 'Anti' actually implies something to me. You can stay passive if you want, I want to carry on fighting, like I have done for decades.

It's up to Karl and the admins here to set the standard for participants. If they decide to make this a focus for activism that's fine, but it really hasn't been that to date afaik.

How about, we list some - and then we're informing folks for future reference. If things get really wild and excitable, we could even complain to the media about it. Some perhaps won't believe this, but occasionally the media does listen. Recently I wrote into my local newspaper and got the letter printed. It was regarding an alleged report they'd published where women were hard-done by and men were just damn lazy, as per usual. I complained about the way the 'report' forgot a lot of information and twisted what was and what wasn't considered 'work' in order to skew the readership. It got printed. Someone will have read this letter (in fact, my aunt already commented she'd spotted my letter) and hopefully allowed them to SEE the reality behind the lies.

You know, I once DID write to the BBC about 24 years ago regarding an issue I thought was very important.. I complained about the way that they were interviewing a trendy role model for young people on a fashion show (i dont remember the gender) and that role model was puffing away on a cigarette all through the (2 minute if that) interview.. Now THAT is an example of something that DOES influence kids to smoke.. I know that because I had just packed up smoking and immedietely was reminded of what i needed!!
