A MAJOR WIN against Feminism.

West Virginia Hands Family Services a Resounding Defeat

It’s long overdue.

In an October 2nd ruling, the honorable Judge Stucky handed the Family Services Board of West Virginia a resounding defeat, often citing gender bias and lack of science to their approach, quoting “a substantial chilling effect of suppressing their members expression of speech, thoughts and ideas relative to domestic violence by depriving them “even of the opportunity to obtain certified services”.

This often included preconceived untruths promulgated by the falsehoods of the domestic violence “experts” within these services. It also found that services “excluded Men and adolescent males from their statutory right to safety and security free from domestic violence for no other reason than their gender”.

The ruling can be viewed here.

The ruling has an effect upon the funding of the Family Services division, which has been practicing these gender biased policies outside of state mandated authority and, until recently, control.

It further stated that these state mandated policies have been undermined by the determined efforts and gender biased policies of Family Services, which has been operating in an out-of-control fashion since its inception.

This decision is long overdue and highlights what is happening across this great country of ours. Fundamental rights have been usurped by the practices of these agencies and o unchecked on a daily basis.

MAWAD (Men and Women Against Discrimination) has shown us the way with their leadership and has done what is necessary here.

And that is by challenging these laws in court. We have already shown the more than abundant evidence through the practices of these agencies, who think they are above the law, until now.

Rules set forth by these state agencies, as found by this court “often exceed the authority granted to them”. One example of this is the setting of standards off licensed facilities to private Coalitions, which in turn, excludes any person who does not adhere to their gender biased agenda.

This also excludes them from funding and insures (sic) that only those who adhere to their belief system, and their belief system only, receive funds. This would include groups that are staffed by the most prominent professional in the field of domestic violence, who are often attacked by these coalitions for their scientific and CLINICAL approach, which includes data that is excluded from ever making it to policies that are created these gender-biased laws in the first place.

This is how these coalitions defeat the opposition and institute their “truth” via gender biased “statistics” to gain “credibility”.

This has stopped in West Virginia for now, and will hopefully happen soon elsewhere where these laws are not being used as intended, and instead, are being used as weapons against men and boys.

In the mean time, true victims of domestic violence are being denied services due to these abhorrent practices, because they do not subscribe to a preset agenda that usurps their constitutional rights as citizens.
Hats off to MAWAD for their positive actions, which have resulted in positive results for victims of domestic violence.

Wonderful news.

Here is another group who are changing the environment to a 'man-friendly' one, when it comes to DV.

Respect has run the Men’s Advice Line since the end of 2006. It is available in England and Wales but they don’t reject callers from Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The manager of the helpline (Ippo Panteloudakis) regularly gives presentations, speaks at conferences and give interviews on male victims of domestic violence and the work they do on the helpline.

They also recently published a booklet for male victims, which, to the best of their knowledge, is the only one of its kind in the UK. You can download it through this webpage: http://www.mensadviceline.org.uk/pages/subpage1.html .

This website was re-designed recently to make it more user friendly for male victims. They also extended the opening hours of the Men’s Advice Line from 16 to 30 hours a week, have a dedicated email service attached to the helpline and people call them on a freephone number.

The Men’s Advice Line was also accredited with the Quality Standard by The Helplines Association last year.

What pleases me to hear besides the fact a victory is achieved is the fact that it's not just a MEN's organisation, but a MEN and WOMEN's organisation, so actually a combined effort instead of a strict male vs feminism issue.

It would be good news if the outcome is to be a reigning back of the perverse DV industry, but if folk are hoping to double up the victim count by allowing men to play the victim game as well, it is just another victory for the state in making relationships between men and women practically impossible.

Undoubtedly, a long step in the right direction in addressing the excesses of the family court.

Remains to be seen however, how influencial that decision will be on future cases where men are at the receiving end of domestic violence.

In the UK., I have realised, judges are hard "nuts" to crack and are unwilling to put justice ahead of financial convinience. They will always side with the party which will give them best profits, and they are usually the women.

Sorry Julie but that organisation is full of self loathing idiots as far as I can tell.

It's appears to be some sort of front for feminists in order to pretend they are helping men and their whole philosophy is very much in line with the discredited feminist models of dv.

I heard some guy from that organisation on Radio 4 who was invited to talk about male victims (something you rarely hear about int the media). What did he do with this superb opportunity? - well he spent half the time downplaying the scale of the problem and talking about how much men abuse women instead! (don't get me wrong I'm very much in favour of balance and honesty, but the specific topic was male victims of dv, not dv as a whole, it really was unbelievable behavior).

Just take a look at their website and you'll see they're more a part of the problem than any solution - that's far, far better dv charities out there.

I hear Haahoo's point, but maybe having DV laws apply equally across the board (including slamming doors, long stares, shouting and denying money etc) and it starts affecting women to the same harsh degree, then, maybe we can have a rational and adult discussion about making DV laws fairer to all.

Until things start detrimentally affecting women also, nothing will change for the better. Maybe this could be the catalyst for what Haahoo describes as a 'reigning back of the perverse DV industry'? Because, asking nicely for equitable representation obviously hasn't worked up to now.

Indeed, there's no way this can be a negative thing. Yes people see it as an further extension fo the state etc, but in reality you're not going to see any increases in budgets in such economic times.

More significantly, once the feminists relaise they can't really exploit dv for political purposes they're going to lose interest (many people in the dv industry really coudln't care less about the victims - if they did they would be helping men too). Ultimately that should mean less liars going round inventing statistics about the number of female victims and thus no overall increase at all.

Honesty and true equality can never be a bad thing.

People don't seem to appreciate just how significant these blows are to man hating feminists. Their whole philosophy is totally dependent on women always being the victims and men always being guilty. Defeats like this one not only put a stop to their sexist antics, but for significantly they are a massive blow to almost every single argument you average man-hating feminists depends upon.

I hear what you are saying. I used to think, "Why don't these guys say it how it is?" But then I learnt what they are up against. To me, it is OK if they downplay the situation to get their funding and to keep their status. As long as they are progressing and moving into other fields, they are gaining power. It is OK if it is not loud.

"Better to have something than nothing at all" is what they all told me over and over again when I nagged at them. I couldn't see their point at first but I do now.

And now, like all others on the sideline of this gender war, I support them with my own status even though it is small and try to help their voice grow. Nothing wrong with 'slowly, slowly' because once men's groups are in, they can't be taken out. You've got to get it 'in' first and then you can say whatever you want.

The problem was the invasion of the government in the private life of individuals. Anyway, your point is irrelevant from the point where you say that it won't come with a budget increase. Will these people work for peanuts? And didn't you check to see the budgets of the UK or US?
