Ha! Very familiar with Leeerooyyy Jenkiiiiinns!

I like to think we have a more strategic plan than that though. Most of us hardcore MRAs are starting to move in ways we have never moved before.

Yes, armageddon may be closer than far.
When I do this, and I know I will, it will be comparable to the lame learning to walk, the blind being enabled to see and the suffocated breathing again. The sky isn't the limit; there are no limits.

    The Inch.

    Every inch.

    Fight for the inch.

Do NOT be dismayed that you have only gained a small, insignificant inch.

I have gained one too, and James has and Outdoors has, and Marx has, and all here have, and together our small insignificant inches can be laid end to end to stretch six feet.

Once in a while we may get thrown back an inch or two, before we gain.

The mrm/fra is growing and people are becoming far more aware of the sexual bias taking place in society.

These people are becoming aware because of people like us.

it is a slow process that is building up steam and starting to snowball, the mrm/fra is growing by the day.

I was just reading the comment's on the mother in Alberta that killed her children,if you don't believe society sees what is going on then I suggest you go read and rate those comment's.

Alberta mother who drowned sons guilty of manslaughter - Edmonton - CBC News

Many people are pointing out the sexism and pussypass involved in that case.

I am utterly surprised that CBC has comments open.

Say not the Struggle Naught availeth

    By Arthur Hugh Clough

    1819-1861

SAY not the struggle naught availeth,
The labour and the wounds are vain,
The enemy faints not, nor faileth,
And as things have been they remain.

    If hopes were dupes, fears may be liars;
It may be, in yon smoke conceal'd,
Your comrades chase e'en now the fliers,
And, but for you, possesst he field.

For while the tired waves, vainly breaking,
Seem here no painful inch to gain,
Far back, through creeks and inlets making,
Comes silent, flooding in, the Main.

And not by eastern windows only,
    When daylight comes, comes in the light;
In front the sun climbs slow, how slowly!
But westward, look, the land is bright!

Cum dilectione hominum et odio vitiorum
Love the Sinner but not the Sin.
    (St. Augustine)

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. “

Old steamers also may not be very comfortable to operate but there is pride, respect and, craft that goes into running one...

I cant resist posting a cheeky comment on here.. Don't take it too seriously chaps..

I was half expecting one or two of the (opposing?) teams cheerleaders to walk in while the chap was giving his speech and suddenly the game is in female hands as everyone's 6 inches start to destract them..

Now THAT would be like the MRM seems to me!

    Added after 5 minutes:

Its a damned shame the other side is travelling by state funded supertrains and by the time we have reached the first station they have already picked up all the paying passengers and their next train is about to over take us for the next lot at the next station..

A bloke I know had the idea of chucking a length of steel chain across the electric rail to cut the trains power off..

I guess the steamer would win then (as long as they could get enough coal in the hole!)

Re: How I feel about the MRM

I get the whole American football terminology and 'margin of error' principle. I was a running back for a British national team, I ran half-back and full-back and I trampled over opponents who dared to stand in my way.

I switched to tight end and flanker when necessary and linebacker to crunch anyone who dared to cross my line.

I also played quarterback when troops were low and coordinated a devastating offence.

And get as intellectual as you can try, but nothing beats bringing down 200+pounds of specialized muscled wrecking machine upon you. The feel and sound of your prey when you crunch into them is unique. What originally drew me to it was boastful university types who ended up getting their feeble asses handed to them. I dislocated and broke a significant number of bones of said smarmy types.

Did I enjoy beating up the progeny of the future elite? Hell Yeah. I looked for every opportunity. Bunch of pussys they were..

Feeling no emotion about opposing a class elite will better serve us all in our future endeavours..

Re: How I feel about the MRM

What I took away from that video most of all was the old guy telling the young men how he pissed away his youth and now he has lost what he had and needs those chaps to fulfill his dreams..

That the middle aged MRA's need the young MRA's to do the tough work now is very true.

However, the game changes with each generation, unlike in sport where the rules remain pretty fixed and stable..

I had a sobering thought last night while indulging in one of my strange pre-occupations with random mathematical musings..

There are more far seconds in a day than there are days in any mans life..

36524 days if you live to be 100..

And I guess only 20,000 of them really likely to be on the cards for anything productive for the average gent.. Childhood, ill health, and death dominate the rest..

Every second is a gift from god, so little, yet so precious, and we are blessed with double these each day than days of our life with which to change our own lives and that of others we care about for the better..

    "86,400 Seconds in a Day"

There are 86,400 seconds in a day.
This is the gift that you have been given this day.
You have 86,400 opportunities to say "I love you"... to say "I'm sorry"...
You have 86,400 opportunities to give someone a hug or to hold someone's hand.
86,400 opportunities is more than enough to make positive life altering changes to your family.
Can you make positive changes to your family with this many opportunities? Only you have the power!
86,400 chances to turn it all around and alter the direction of your life forever.
You only have today because there are no tomorrows. All you will ever have is today.
Take this gift of today that you have been given and use every opportunity to let them know how you feel.
    ~J. Charest
