Personally I have always felt that any man who commits a crime of this nature should be castrated. No questions, no debates, no begging for second chances. Why should someone who commits a crime that strips a person of their dignity be given a second chance to prove they didn't really 'mean' to do it. The victim has to live with the physical, mental and emotional scars for the rest of their life - so should the attacker.

This article refers to an assault, not rape, btw.

I know that if the local prison needed a volunteer to stop these sorry excuses for human beings dead in their tracks, the ones who prey on young children and strip them of their innocence and childhood, then I would be first in line with a meat cleaver and a spring in my step. I know I would also sleep like baby at night (stupid saying that, I never met a baby who really loved to sleep).

By posing as a feminist, I recently gained access to the hidden area of a radical feminist message board.

Check out this hysterical post from the forum:

My roommate uses my computer because hers is broken, and I noticed that when I opened it yesterday her gmail was open (mine was closed). Also, the history was cleared.

I checked my cookies today and there are links to at least three porn websites.

I feel sick and angry and I cannot handle it. I am so angry I want to cry. I won't be able to sleep tonight but she's asleep so I don't want to wake her up to talk to her.

Is there any way that these cookies could have gotten to my computer OTHER than by going to the site? Like, can you be at one website and then have it direct your, or something--I don't know. I've never been to any of this sick places (I checked the websites because I wasn't sure if it was something I had been on before, and these incredibly pornographic images came up on my computer). But could it have happened if I was looking at something else that linked to these sites or something? I don't want to accuse her of this huge violation of privacy if it wasn't her, but if it was then something seriously needs to happen. Is there any way I could learn anything about the history or when my computer visited the site or something by looking at the cookies?

I am shaking and I feel like I am going to have a panic attack. It's such a violation of everything I stand for and SHE KNOWS that I am incredibly anti-porn. Oh my god oh my god.

In summary, he was too drunk to drive and this 6-month-pregnant friend-of-a-friend didn't have a ride home, so they shared a hotel room with the stated intent to sleep and only sleep. He was 19 and therefore capable of getting and keeping an erection while plastered and semi-conscious. She got on top of him at least twice without his consent and threatened to accuse him of rape if he didn't comply or if he tried to report her.

I need to go to bed, but I want to bat this around with the Blamers later. I'll admit that my ability to sympathize is somewhat tempered by the fact that the guy is a Libertarian, and therefore probably an MRA to some extent, or at least not very conscious of feminism. I'm also having some difficulty believing the story due to the usual agenda of anti-feminist-Libertarian-types to make it all about the menz, and because the logistics of the account don't sound real feasible to me (1. women don't crave or get off on PIV as much as dudes think they do. 2. the usual motives to take someone down a peg or overpower them don't really seem to be there - far as I'm reading, she just wanted the almighty dick. 3. I can't imagine getting a guy hard enough to mount without waking him up in the process). But I don't know everything about everything and my assumptions could be wrong and I feel like an ass for disbelieving someone's rape story.

I'm also venturing that most of the sympathetic commenters are also Libertarian MRA-types. Except Womanist Musings did a big post about it on her blog too, so now I have to actually think about it.

I know if the sexes were reversed, this guy and many guys like him would immediately go to the female victim's "bad decisions," like getting drunk and sharing a hotel room with a strange man (what woman would agree to that anyway?) He doesn't get quite that same treatment, but in a follow-up post he made a day after the one above, he tells of a lot of crap he has gotten for the first post, which is basically accusations of lying (well, that's familiar) and aspersions on his masculinity.

I don't know. Is this real or what? To hear (read) these guys tell it, women rape men as frequently as men rape women, only male victims of female rapists (which are like half of all rapists - you just don't know it because men are ashamed to report their rapes and women aren't) have it harder because they don't command the sympathy that female rape victims do. In other words, big heaps of trumped-up MRA bullshit. This is the interpretation my jaded brain is wrestling with.

Women and men are NOT the same. Even if they exhibit the same behaviors, they have entirely different motives and the repercussions are different.

I think it's perfectly acceptable to ALWAYS believe a woman who says she was raped while at the same time being a little more skeptical about the same claims made by men.

There is no fucking way that women rape men in the same numbers that men rape women.

Some members of AM will have heard of male feminist Jeff Fecke (he wrote an article slandering MRAs last year).

Whilst browsing through the radical feminist message board which I've infiltrated, I discovered a thread in which Jeff Fecke is criticized:

I have a bit of a gripe. I suppose the female posters at Shakes, like Melissa and ZuZu and Kate, are very busy, but lately I think about 90% of the posts are from this guy Jeff Fecke. He's a totally decent ally, but he's monopolizing the blog in my opinion. I'd rather hear/read the female positions on the issues he's bringing up. I guess I could say something in comments there, since he seems to have time to actually post things and read comments. I'm not sure how well that would go over though; I post there pretty sporadically and no one else there seems to mind. I have thumbed-up some of his better posts for StumbleUpon, because I figure if something feminist comes from a male name with a picture of a male face it may, sadly, give it credibility to people who might automatically dismiss the same points coming from a female name and a female picture.

What's P-coded about Fecke's language IMO is just his prolificness. For example, he made 5 posts just yesterday. All the other contributers at Shakes combined made 4 posts in the same period.
I'm glad he gets it, mostly, and is enthusiastic, but dude, let someone else have the mic already.

In a thread entitled "Feminist act of the day", one member of the radical femism forum admits to slandering a company owner, by claiming (with no proof whatsoever) that he is a rapist:

On Sunday I stuck up "This Demeans Women" stickers all over the windows of a dance studio that teaches pole dancing aerobics exclusively. The windows had newspaper articles about sexxyfun dance class being empowerfulizing to teh chickz plastered up, so I plastered over them with my editorial content. I assumed it was for a local band and was happy to take it, but was disgusted when I saw that it was an ad for American Apparel just up the street. The current window display features larger-than-life photos of half-dressed women. One in particular is a woman in nothing but stretch pants and a raccoon-eye mask, with her "sideboob" completely visible. I can't believe that's legal to display on a public thoroughfare. Yes, I do realize that. But it can be hard sometimes when you see all this blatant anti-male stuff. I don't hate every single woman out there, but I do hate these feminists with a passion.

I'm in the same boat as you Blue, I know that not all women are evil man hating bitches but it's hard to keep that in mind when faced with this nightmare we men and boys live in, somedays I think would be better if men and women had a no hlds bared throw down to see who is better.
