Warcraft file defined by Percy:

I use the term 'warcraft' because we are as soldiers battling an enemy.

Our weapons are words and knowledge, facts and correct statistics. Our skills are arguement.

We need to learn the skills from the lessons that other people's words and arguements teach us.

A 'Warcraft' file holds all the phrases that work; all the facts that are relevant; all the ways of rebutting mendacious claims.

Most of us are poor at instant arguement. We need 'training'. We need to do it NOW in the safety of the practice ring, the mock-tournament. We need to hone our skills against one another, as brothers ( and willing sisters). That is the major practical function of this forum.

Reading here on this board and elsewhere is 'Practice'. The threads here are small assualt courses that hone our skills and strengthen us. Just leaving valuable weapons and skills here, in the common armoury, is insufficient. We must keep our weapons and lessons at home on our own computers; we must carry precis of them with us for instant reference, so that we can fight when the opportunity arises. It is only through repetion and revision that we can be ready to fight well and effectively.

That is Warcraft.

You're a legend; seriously. I was actually going to ask if all the research articles etc that you link us to, are anywhere posted collectively. I say that, fuelled with such great ammunition to aid in debunking feminisic myths in the minds of the sane, we make it our mission to spread these to anyone we can.

Nice, should this be a sticky? Why'd you call it "Warcraft"? People may confuse it with the video game series.

Thank you thank you....this list was created in 2 days using my posts as well as the stickys and my reputations given. Before I was just dumping useful information in the AM database and searching through threads. Let me remind you again: Help me finding this information: A study that men can endure pain better.

The post I did concerning the wage gap was actually written a few months beforehand, by myself for another forum. When posting, I pasted what I'd saved to my PC, but somehow managed to miss off two points, which I added to another post below: I mentioned the fact that men do the more dangerous jobs (with 95% of work-related deaths being male), and that females naturally tend towards studying Arts subjects (which never promise the sort of prospects that Science subjects do).

Never before have I seen a post, anywhere, that stands to bring about such enlightenment. There are so many feministic/general myths exposed as such, in association with the studies linked to. We should all be making it our mission to spread these via other forums; either start topics here and there, providing the links, or respond to existing topics.

There is so much potential to reach out to people, with so much evidence now at our hands.

Feckless, might I suggest you add some of the contents that are 'studies' (i.e. not just news articles, but studies with a locatable source) in the 'Studies' zone? It will help boost that are a bit, making it a little more instrumental in the fullness of the site and can be referenced to with ease by other members.
