Yep having said that I have to figure out WHERE to go to get away from this messed up society.

There are places that are dramatically less populated. We go camping every chance we have in the summer, and we go pretty far out. Once we've established camp, we take the four wheelers and go even further. It always amazes me because we'll be miles and miles and miles from civilization, in the heart of the wilderness and come across a little inhabited cabin. Not a vacation cabin because it would take a lot of work and effort to get to, Nope, this is the cabin of somebody who's left civilization and society behind.

I'm always a little jealous because sometimes....it's really hard to leave and come back to civilization. Sitting up on the side of the mountain where the only sounds are the birds the wind and the stream, where there are no cars or phones or even (gasp) computers....that's where I really feel at peace.
