Re: ---Least we forget!

I was thinking a list of feminists would be a good idea. Men hate list, feminists do it, why shouldn't MRA's.

Re: ---Least we forget!

This is about the 88 people that signed the declaration of solidarity against the Duke lacrosse players who were accused of rape. Recently 87, mostly the same, people defended the previous 88. I believe TMOTS published the names of the original 88. Update: yes.

Re: ---Least we forget!

Looks like a list of junk degree subjects..

What I always find interesting is whenever a fathers issues convention or government talking shop is announced, you get list of speakers speaking about men and fathers, yet the majority of them are actually FEMALE..

I dont believe that women can ever see our issues from our angle and its a sad reflection on men that they seem unable to come together, to speak, to organise, to do stuff, without the heavy assistance of women..

Seems to me to be a part of the acceptance that issues to do with kids etc are best understood by females..

Not sure I agree with that..

But the EP groups seem to be headed and run by women and mangina types..

Re: ---Least we forget!

This might also be interesting if you're looking for those who are involved.

N.b.: Pebbles seems to be a real person, she has an e-mail address.

Re: ---Least we forget!

Perusing this list I stumbled upon the profile of Kathy Rudy. An excerpt:

Quote:
Upon first coming to Durham, Rudy recalled that she “moved quickly into the lesbian community because there was a growing sentiment in feminist discourse that lesbianism was the most legitimate way to act out our politics.” Within this “progressive” neighborhood in west Durham, “Many of us thought that by avoiding men and building a parallel, alternative culture, we were changing the world . . . I managed to live most of my daily life avoiding men all together, and spent most of my social time reading, dreaming, planning, talking, and writing about the beauty of a world run only by women, . . . free of [men’s] patronizing dominance.” Rudy and her fellow radical feminists oriented their activities around “the ideas that women were superior and that a new world could be built on that superiority.”
And this is what they do with their funding? Hiring a piece of work like this "woman"? Why is there a place for racists like this on such a prestigious university?
