Advice Section for False Rape, Abuse Victims

I recommend to add an Advice Section for False Rape, and False Abuse victims in the Advice Corner.

Yes it is a great idea and this would be a great website to use as a hub for such activism.

This is an excellent idea. Besides being a practical activism outlet, there are (by my perception) enough folks who have been through this, counselors, and lawyers (or other legal professionals) lurking and posting here to really be able to help.

I have one sort of devil's advocate question: how would you propose keeping folks who are NOT ideologically committed to justice and fairness (i.e., feminists) from signing on as "experts" and giving the wrong kind of advice.

I do think it is an excellent idea and should be done post haste, with perhaps some thought being given to protecting those who may stumble upon that section in a vulnerable state - they need to be protected from disinformation (i.e., feminism).

Valid point CE.

IF I were to impliment such an area, perhaps new members could be barred from posting replies.

For example, someone came here to seek advice, they could post a thread in the section requesting help - but members will less than 100 posts and xyz reputation could not reply.

And for feminists promoting their usual misinformation with a 100+ posts, well, I'd guess other members would know them well enough to highlight the erronous information in any replies given.

I'm not really sure about how somebody typing in "I need help" or "Help with false accusations" or "I need advice falsely accused of rape/domestic violence" or whatever would go about finding this page from Google, but shouldn't something about "Get Advice" be included so that people who have no idea can be brought directly to the page?

The description has been changed a bit. It's more effective to have a dedicated site. However, now false accusation victims can receive specific advice when they come to AM in that section. It's a start.

I agree! And a much-needed start.

People do not realize that when false allegations are made against a man by a woman, the entire world, by default, closes up against that man. I hope that over the next few years, this idea is useful in 1) providing such support as is possible to men who are going through unspeakable darkness and 2) bolstering the numbers of folks who partake in the continuing education that is AM.

Within the next few days (I am traveling and far too busy right at this moment) I will add links to this Advice Section and write a couple of blog/etc. articles about it.
