Woman Proves that Women Are Granted Numerous Impunity

Okay, so this woman is left a receipt and instead of getting a tip of money the tip says "you can stand to lose a few pounds". She uploads this to her facebook page, people rally around her like she's some kind of matyr and these idiots start sending hate mail to random men with the same name as the customer and even call these men. She should be fired for that conduct, sued by the men receiving hate mail since she gave out their name (and so should the people sending the hate mail) and she and those people should go to jail for slander. If her employer keeps her then they condone this behavior *unless they fear government intervention*.

Those men's lives are possibly endangered just because of what she did without thinking or caring. She has proven herself to be foolish and insensitive. She doesn't care who pays because of this! In an effort to "get back" at this customer she has caused innocent men unfair trouble and stress. Women do not consider the implications of their actions unless they feel the blow of it. I'm sure if she had been a man doing this and women were being threatened and contacted receiving hate mail and threatening phone calls as a result of it then he would have been fired and possibly have a criminal record and worse.

The wrong man was even scolded because of a mangina. Her "apology" is bullshit and she is getting too much publicity for her stupidity.

A small correction here, she was the employee and he was the customer. But it doesn't change that they're both still in the wrong. He maybe should've been a little more careful, and she shouldn't have made a huge deal of it on FB and making it worse by starting a hate campaign wrongfully targetting the wrong people.

It was actually pretty mean and asinine to write that on her receipt. Posting it on her facebook is, to me, the same thing as sharing it with her girlfriends, which is a totally normal reaction. That's the danger with facebook, though - there are so many people on it, and the internet affords so much anonymity, that things can get out of hand in a hurry. Mob mentality blaming every man who had the same name, instead of the one who deserved it.

This is a normal reaction and that is the problem. Thank you for proving my point that it is normal for women to behave this short sightedly. So I suppose that if a man had a nasty female customer with the same name as you and you got mean and threatening calls, emails and were publically humiliated because of your name it would a totally normal reaction.

If her doctor told her that, it would have been appropriate. This guy was out of line. Unless, of course, she asked him for his opinion of her weight, which isn't very likely. Or, I suppose there's the chance that her weight problem caused her to give him poor service, in which case it could have been taken as constructive criticism.

If that was the case, I stand corrected.

No one is stating that the man in the story wasn't an asshole for doing what he did. We're stating that the woman responded irresponsibly and was yielded more support and wasn't held accountable for the results of her actions because she is a woman.

No, that's the mob mentality part I mentioned at the end of my post, and it's why I mentioned the danger of facebook. Because like it or not, women bitch to each other about the crap that happens during our day. And like it or not, facebook is women's favorite way to communicate with each other. I'm not saying it's right. I'm not saying I even get the appeal of facebook. I am saying this was totally predictable and has very little to do with feminism, and everything to do with the way women relate.

As far as public support for her actions goes, at the point where innocent people were being targeted, she should have issued a sincere apology and pulled the post. But of course, by that point, the damage had been done. And, of course, that's not gonna happen, because we've already gotten to "you go grrrl".

Exactly, women's evil has very little to do with feminism. Feminism just allows women to do evil without getting in trouble for it. We're on the same page now.

Actually, what the pop am I saying?

It's not the danger of facebook, she could have posted a note on a tree or written in the bathroom stalls or some shit and the same thing could have happened. It isn't facebook's fault; it is her fault!

The danger is that her appetite for revenge didn't allow her to see far enough ahead (whom could be hurt as a result) and innocent people were endangered and nothing was done to her as a result.

Women remind me of "the boy who cried wolf".
