Woman flashes $27,000 in pub, gets robbed US police say they are searching for two men suspected of robbing a woman of US$27,000 after she flashed the cash in a Massachusetts bar.
Sgt. John Delaney said that the 22-year-old woman was robbed last week by two men wearing dark clothing and bandanas, one armed with what appeared to be a semi-automatic handgun.
According to police, the woman bragged in the bar of receiving the US$27,000 from an insurance claim. Police say she was later robbed after she left the bar with a male friend.
Delaney said the woman should have put her cash settlement in a bank.

No kidding, it's simply an invitation for robbery if you walk around with that much and even brag about it in a public space such as a pub. Sometimes stupidity does comes with a price tag.Originally Posted by Zuberi

Somehow I do have my suspicions that she might've gotten the money from a false insurance claim due to the bragging... That's idle speculation though. Nevertheless, the robbery remains inexcusable.
I would love to know what the insurance payout was for !!
