'The UK's biggest ever investigation of sex trafficking failed to find a single person who had forced anybody into prostitution in spite of hundreds of raids on sex workers in a six-month campaign by government departments, specialist agencies and every police force in the country.
The failure has been disclosed by a Guardian investigation which also suggests that the scale of and nature of sex trafficking into the UK has been exaggerated by politicians and media.
Current and former ministers have claimed that thousands of women have been imported into the UK and forced to work as sex slaves, but most of these statements were either based on distortions of quoted sources or fabrications without any source at all.

Those figures credited Pentameter with "arresting 528 criminals associated with one of the worst crimes threatening our society". But an internal police analysis of Pentameter, obtained by the Guardian after a lengthy legal struggle, paints a very different picture.
The analysis, produced by the police Human Trafficking Centre in Sheffield and marked "restricted", suggests there was a striking shortage of sex traffickers to be found in spite of six months of effort by all 55 police forces in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland together with the UK Border Agency, the Serious and Organised Crime Agency, the Foreign Office, the Northern Ireland Office, the Scottish government, the Crown Prosecution Service and various NGOs in what was trumpeted as "the largest ever police crackdown on human trafficking".

GOt to give credit to the Guardian not only for reporting this but for being the ones to uncover it. That really is very surprising indeed

Of course it doesn't excuse their 24/7 man hating, in the slightest, but clearly there are a few upstanding individuals working there who really understand what journalism really means and are actually interested in the truth instead of playing politics.

It just goes to show how tightly knit the Patriarchy is, with all those senior policemen in their secret peadophile rings covering up what must be the worst scandal in the history of the world.

Women are cowered into silence, fearing for their very lives whenever a policewoman with a clipboarded questionnaire comes to the door.

And all those 'Escorts' hide under the triple beds in their 3000 squid a week apartments, covering themselves with lingerie whenever a police raid to rescue them bursts through the door. If discovered they are all 'groomed' - by oppressive sex-slaving men - to claim thay are the cleaning lady being meticulous.

Well to be fair the BBC have no covered this too. Admittedly it was hidden away late at night on Newsnight, but good to see a Labour politician get busted for inventing statistics. It starts at about 20 mins in:

Alongside domestic violence and rape, sex trafficking is one of those political cash cows that feminists will not relent on despite the contrary evidence. And hey, if there's no evidence per se, feminists will just invent it. Sorted.

The public is bombarded with the false notion of unrelenting sex trafficking bombarding our shores, akin to the ferocious disembarkation of the d-day landings. But upon further (empirical) investigation it's quite clear this supposed menacing and elusive threat to the very liberty to a undeterminable number of women does not actually exist. Slam dunk!

I guess if the likes of Harriet Harman gets her way, a sexually trafficked woman will become whatever it means to increase the figures.

The whole white slavery thing has always been a giant canard that over idealizes women or serves as a mechanism to facilitate the flat denial that women are capable of "puting a price on themselves".
You need not force any woman into prostitution, there are far too many women that are all too glad to take your money in exchange for a little tummy rub.

Some points that stand out

1. He's heavily involved in the expenses scandal.
2. He's been caught lying before when he denied making certain comments but was in fact recorded on a dictaphone.
3. His partner is none other than the Guardian's very own man hating gender feminist Joan Smith!

Looking at the number of government agencies and police forces involved, I wonder just how much this futile exercise eventually cost the taxpayer?

I wonder how senior police officers feel about being led on a wild goose chase by scaremongering feminists desperate to fulfill an agenda?

Just how much of the police budget is actually wasted on pandering endlessly to feminist whims?

Surely a commonsensical approach would be to have undertaken a smaller investigation, say within one police force, and then if tangible results were forthcoming, expand it to a larger investigation.

I'm wondering if certain feminists groups fed police with hyperbolic and fraudulent stats to validate this witch hunt? If so, shouldn't charges be compiled for fraud and wasting police time and resources?

Here's a link to a good piece by the same journalist, who highlights in greater detail the systematic path of lies, and the considerable number of people and organisations through political, religious, ideological and monetary benefit were knowingly complicit in perpetuating the sex trafficking myth.

Interesting to note an alliance of evangelical Christians with feminist campaigners to spread the lie.

Interesting article with its inflation of guesstimates at every stage by the rent-seking academics and NGOs they pass through. The rape statictics do just the same. Everyone getting Government grants to invent a problem and make it sound worse.

Just how anyone could make any money at all 'trafficking' 'sex-slaves' in a massively oversupplied market beats all economic theory. You would have to be giving them away at three for the price of one.

It would appear that every other women is dropping her knickers to 'get a better quality of life' after quitting her job as a chicken gutter or lollipop lady. No wonder Harriet Harman wants more Board room jobs opportunities for them.

Notice how it said 59 people arrested but failed to give a breakdown of gender? In my experience (and I have a lot) it is almost always women running brothels and importuning girls into prostitution. But 'Madam' sounds almost benign compared to 'Pimp'.
