In the first place, I find it disgusting that children with grubby feet sit in carts others have to use as well as being a safety hazard.

What really concerns me though, is the mother yanked the trolley aggressively, then was confronted (angrily), but the way she dealt with that was to scream and shout to the extent of losing all control.

Is that really the best lessons to be teaching your child? That one can make an aggressive movement, then lose all control screaming the shop down? I fear for that child. Such behaviour is very frightening.

We went over to see what was going on, we thought a fight had ensued, but it was the mother yelling and cursing at the little girl. If you were at either corner of the store, you could hear this lady yelling. The mother was yelling at daughter to stand up and reach a shirt with a broken arm. Indeed. Some people just don't have to correct demeanour to be reproducing. I feel sorry for the children as they grow up thinking this is the way conflicts are resolved, so the cycle keeps on going, steadily declining.

This is what happens when a parent is not allowed to slap their child for not sitting the fuck down when they are in a shopping cart (or for insisting on being in it the first place when they are clearly far too old for it). Eventually they just snap and go "Ok, kid: have it your way".

So many of the hassles that we have with women who can behave however they damn well please and there's nothing you are allowed to do about it, women have the same thing with kids. The world is upside-down.

Personally I disagree with violence on kids. Not primarily because of liberal reasoning, but just because all beatings as a child did for me was cause resentment, pent up anger and frustration and certainly didn't help my social side.

The best punishment was always time-out. Hated it more than anything else, but it was the most effective thing.

The way I saw it the mother was busy yapping on her phone and looking the other way. She wouldn't have known whether the child was standing, sitting or had been kidnapped half an hour ago.

Although she lacks the discipline to even take care of her own body, never mind her children, she's still a voter, a citizen, a consumer and a woman. Those qualifications entitle her to get away with practically anything.

Really, Zuberi? Really??

I spend quite a bit of time in Wal-Mart and have never seen behavior even approaching this. There is a reason someone got out their cell phone and recorded it. It's not right, but it's not common either. Thank you for your low opinion of womankind.
