In case you missed it, TLC ran one of its water-testing one-hour "specials" last week called Birth Moms. These broadcasts are initially one-off in nature, but often spawn series when viewer interest is high enough (Extreme Couponing and My Strange Addiction are two such shows) America likes some garbage (and I'm proud to be an American), but I don't know if the public could stomach regularly scheduled episodes of Birth Moms.
The special chronicled the stories of three pregnant women who were preparing to give their children up for adoption (interestingly, they all had other kids that they had kept). They stayed at a sort of compound that also provided food for them as they prepared to give birth and sign their babies away.

Another great example of a liberated woman. "heavy sarcasm"

As long as popular media glamorizes this shit, more young women are sure to follow. If the fashion industry and popular reality tv shows glamorized young women wearing leeches on their foreheads, you can bet a steak dinner with all the trimmings that a sizable % of young women would be wearing leeches on their foreheads.

Read a book, feed your brain. Don't let Television turn your Gulliver into an anorexic pile of excrement.

These shows are nothing but absolute crap. They show young women acting like complete entitled trollops and drunkards, while young men perform increasingly dangerous stunts (presumably to prove who is the stupidest?).
All in all, it's the worst "entertainment" to put into your brain. Give me a good book or science magazine any day...or at least a miniature to paint
