MensNet: Public Access Cable TV for MRM's
MensNet is an informal menís issues public access talk program cablecast on Cablevision, RCN and Manhattan Neighborhood Network stations. MensNet addresses all types of menís issues, e.g., affirmative action, dating, divorce laws, domestic violence, draft registration, fatherís rights, false allegations, feminism, marriage, pornography, prostitution, menís reproductive rights, sexual harassment, rape, working women, etc.
For over six years, week after week, Roy Barreca and Tony Nazzaro welcome viewers and guests both male and female to MensNet, the only program of its kind dedicated to a frank and open discussion of today's issues confronting men.
Here at our website you can learn more about past shows, read articles and essays on men's rights, download materials, and even sound off via e-mail about MensNet.
MensNet exposes the discriminatory laws and cultural double-standards that exist against men. We believe that biased, politically correct practices are unfair, and directly contribute to the disrespectful and resentful male-female relationships in our society.
We currently air in Manhattan, Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess and Orange counties.
MensNet studio shows are filmed "live to tape," which means all the conversations are spontaneous and unrehearsed. It's 30 minutes of unfiltered talk on the issues, recorded as it happens.
If you've never seen MensNet before, check out transcripts of prior shows and tune in the next time we're on the air in your area.
WANT TO SEE MENSNET
IN YOUR AREA?
If your public access cable station isn't carrying MensNet, and you would be interested in acting as a local representative to allow us on the air in your city, send an e-mail for more information. It's absolutely free!
[Let's see if we can keep this going, help it expand or clone it in our local area.]

A Men's Rights Movement Viewpoint on Rape Laws, Policies and Related Issues
Anthony Nazzaro, to Fordham School of Law, April 9, 1998
"My purpose today is to familiarize you with a men's rights movement viewpoint on current rape laws, policies and other related issues.
False rape accusations
One of the most controversial topics today is false rape accusations.
Myth: False rape accusations do no significant harm to an innocent victim. Some possible reasons for a false accusation are:
Fact: A false rape accusation has the potential to destroy an innocent man's life emotionally as well as financially.
Myth: False rape accusations against men are rare.
Fact: Even the disputed 8.6% figure given by the FBI is three to four times the false report rate when compared to all the other crime categories.
Myth: Actively prosecuting false rape accusations would expose women to prosecution whenever the man is acquitted.
Fact: Prosecution of false accusations under existing law covering perjury and malicious prosecution would require clear and convincing evidence that the woman deliberately lied. Such evidence can only exist if the woman did indeed deliberately fabricate the charge. No such evidence could exist if the woman were truly raped or believed herself raped.
- Revenge, because of rejection
- Extortion or blackmail
- Protection of reputation (of a married or underage woman)
- Jealousy (having an obsessive attraction)
- Or, a reinterpretation of consensual sex for any number of reasons ..."
