    Hiding rep function

I just noticed that there is a member here who has his rep hidden, yet I can still see the numbers despite the icon that shows his rep is supposed to be hidden. In other words, it's not hidden after all. It's in plain view. Is this a glitch of some sort? I have my rep points hidden as well, and am just wondering if everyone can see them anyway, just like I can see his?

LOL....I see yours, too. In fact that's exactly why I posted this. (Tried to send you a PM but I see you don't have that function available.) :)

not sure why i hid my rep points? i think they are kinda senseless and have really nothing to do with who i am.i do like giving them out though, when i see a good post.

ya well, that certainly doesn't stop "some" from sending messages-its turned "off" for a reason

i don't need notification of anything,if i do or say something wrong-just give me a warning--no one needs to tell me about it-i usually know what i did(or can't remember-lol).Birthdays are bad for me.

Some of us with very modest rep points try not to look.

You didn't say anything wrong...wanting to send you a PM was so I could tell you that your *points are showing*...lol

You should have a billion rep points!

I think I agree with Outdoors...the rep point system really is kind of senseless in that if a person is here long enough they gain a rep (of one kind or another....lol) based on their contributions regardless of point counts.
