Re: A Voice for Men is running a donation drive.
I think if you look back, both Marx and I have apologized for our behaviour toward's avfm.
He started the thread and I added to it.
I think we were just having a pissy day.
I don't think anyone is trying to make them or you look bad.
This is just as much your territory as it is mine,I am sorry you feel that way.
I have yet to see any apologies swinging the other way.

Re: A Voice for Men is running a donation drive.
How sad. From a readers point of view.... it looks like IJ thought his site would be desperate and so he turned to another site that has it's own costs and tried to shame them into donating money. When he learned he didn't need the site, he left.
I banned a woman from a site after trying to work with her for years. She just couldn't work as a team member for it was 'all about her" and she just kept doing everything she could to steal from my hard work. I let it go, over and over for there's plenty of people out there to share..... but in the end her greed got too much and was harming people rather than helping.
...............
I can't read AVFM because it's never about men and always about destroying women. I have to deal with men's 'self appointed' representatives offline and if I won't allow them in my home, then I shouldn't allow the online one's either. ..... Mind you, AVFM would be loving the fact I don't have anything to do with them.
(it goes both ways for me, lol)

Re: A Voice for Men is running a donation drive.
Marx, I will donate some money as I haven't given anything for years. To be honest, I would send young men to this site who are in need of male role models.
One of my sons has been working for Indian and Chinese men who run women down. (some do this, y'know) I dropped him off on the side of the road last week for their bad role modelling started to affect our relationship. He's been good since, but I wish he had better men to be around.Ignorance is the Oppressor, Vigilance the Liberator.

Bad me for jumping to conclusion. You are someone who is definitely a team player.Greetings to all fellow MRA's and MGTOW here! This is Iron John from Mancoat, the Niceguys forum, and AVFM. I have come seeking someone by the name of Karl or perhaps Carl. I am told he has frequent contact with Angry Harry and I need to get a message to him. Thank you.
Well then..... I am pleased your project has the funding it needs. I hope it has the output it is wanting.

Re: A Voice for Men is running a donation drive.
Thanks for clarifying. I asked because since you came here you chose to withhold that. Even going back to your first post, it never got a mention. And back then, you were not aware of any issues I may have had, or you didn't divulge it if you did. My question was a simple one to satisfy my own curiosity because I said a while back that some people only ever post here to promote other sites, and you fell into that category. Despite you opting to withhold your affiliation without good cause, I was a bit confused as to why you would be that way. I mean, if you're part of the team, just say so - it's not a big deal. But it is bit unfair to expect that no one would enquire why you only post about AVfM and not much else when stating you're only a member of the site (instead of a member of the 'staff side' of the site). I found your choices to withhold a little suspicious. I found your use of AM to drum up support for other sites that already far out-perform AM a bit distasteful.
Not at all. Asking a simple question in no way could make AVfM look bad by being answered. There is no bone (there was and I've moved on)... The only thing making AVfM look bad at this moment is the way you've handled this, as already stated above.
Some of us prefer openness and honesty, to know where we stand... And some of us seem quite happy to prefer playing games. The only thing I was curious about, given your words, was whether you worked at AVfM or were just a site member. It wasn't a bad question and it didn't need to escalate into a dung-throwing issue. A simple, "yeah, I do a lot of their graphics for them" or alike would have sufficed perfectly well.
But seriously, IJ, how would YOU feel if I came to your own site claiming to be members of various sites (which would also be true) and then only ever talked when I was trying to promote AM... Wouldn't things look a little off colour to you in that scenario? Only for me to then tell you that you're the trouble-maker for having the audacity to ask me some fairly basic questions...

Re: A Voice for Men is running a donation drive.
But this is isn't true. I have posted on subjects that do not relate to promoting AVFM. Which you yourself have commented on:

And which you did not comment on:

Now who is being deceptive?

Re: A Voice for Men is running a donation drive.
Withholding my affiliation? I stated it in my very first post here:
http://antimisandry.com/introduce-yo...tml#post292975
As for any official role there, I have none and never stated that I did.

Re: A Voice for Men is running a donation drive.
Deceptive, how? I stated earlier in that same post, which you chose to exclude from the quote: My point has been that you only seem to post on AM when you're drumming up support for other sites. Would that be an incorrect assessment?
Yes, you identified that you were a member on several sites but didn't note that you had specific interests in using AM as a promotional tool for other sites, which is what seems to have been happening.
There may possibly be a misunderstanding on terminology perhaps..
In this post: http://antimisandry.com/general-news...tml#post299835 you clarified that you were talking collectively when you said "we're". I had stated earlier that by collectively I was asking if you were part of the AVfM team (staff) or just a site-member, so when you didn't identify as just a site-member and instead clarified you meant it 'collectively' that meant you were acknowledging yourself as part of the AVfM staff.
If you're not - it's no big deal. If you are - it's no big deal. I'm just a little confused by the attitude and paranoia that seems to be a part of most posts from you.
ETA: Just to add, even your PM to me from 2 months back was all about drumming up support for other sites... well, again, one site specifically.Last edited by Marx; 1st-July-2012 at 02:06 PM.

Re: A Voice for Men is running a donation drive.
Not quite.
I'd already stated sites, which is plural. You opted to ignore that. I observe, and this obviously comes across in my writings, that your main focus is for AVfM.
So.. if it's untrue that you only post to drum up support for other sites, perhaps you can show us your involvement in other threads that don't focus on other websites?
