Re: Feminists protest at Cannes Film Festival
I've noticed a trend recently for feminists to pour over short lists complaining when no women appear in them. You and I, and common sense, might argue that a short list exists to narrow down candidates according to their ability i.e. weed out the weaker candidates, but this concept is too complicated for feminists who believe that the purpose of every list is to include a percentage of women.

Re: Feminists protest at Cannes Film Festival
Yet these feminists who complain of short-lists with only men in them have no issue with short-lists containing only women, nor do they have issues with issues with illegal women-only short-lists, such as those promoted by the last Labour Government in England.

Re: Feminists protest at Cannes Film Festival
generally if one scrolls back into history and looks for great achievements by wimyn there is a glaring paucity of such achievements; the only reason they get medals at the Olympics is cause they can't compete effectively agin men so compete only agin each other ;in a few years they will find my puter address and have me shot for saying that

Feminists will whine until the day they die. I just recommend getting headphones to drown out their screeching.

Re: Feminists protest at Cannes Film Festival
I know.
I could have worn my pair at the festival - had I been able to go.
But speaking of films, most movies and series have men who are emotional. Not that emotion is bad, but I'd like to see a movie in which the male character is very logical in his operations.
If they can't do that, then maybe they can at least be creative in with the story. The stuff that's coming out is far too predictable and narrow.
