Re: A young man, searching for self-respect in Australia

I'm tending to agree with you. I don't think it's a conscious alliance between state and feminism, but it's certainly a mutually beneficial relationship. The oppression of men is probably more the suppression of men. The objective of emasculating boys is to make them more like girls. One of the fundamental differences between men and women is that women are more submissive than men. I mean that, many women will do as they are told, men are more likely to complain and question the authority. That is the main difference in the performance of boys and girls academically in my opinion. The girls comply with the teacher's expectations, while the boys tend to challenge their teachers. Hence feminists are usually very good a spelling and grammar, but lacking in the critical analytical skills needed to pull theories apart and expose their inconsistencies. Again, I'm being controversial, but I think women are a lot more comfortable following orders than men are and the State wants people to follow orders without complaint.

From my experience, feminists tend to obey the expectations and dictates of other feminists and not question their dogma. Almost every feminist blog I've read features posts that flattly contractict each other, but instead of pointing out to each other the contradictions they support each other despite the contradictions. For us men, working together is harder, we're not going to immediately give our respect to another man until we have challenged him and his thinking, and rightly so, but the feminists will all fall in line and support each other even if they don't have a case. It's a case of unity is strength, even if they're all strength and no brain.

I can't help but feel the ridiculing/discrediting of the military by the left is essential to feminism and part of a plan to make societies more malleable to authority. Whenever I ask people to list the military virtues about 3 out of 4 times they look at me blankly and say, "what military virtues?" (Honour, courage, loyalty, discipline, sacrifice, patriotism and self-reliance.)

Pacificism is decidely feminist and anti-male. Boys are drawn to guns and fighting, because they are drawn naturally to serve their community as protectors and leaders. By discrediting the military tradition, they're discrediting a large portion of what it means to be a man. But I think it is essential that we teach boys about the values of honour, courage, loyalty, discipline, sacrifice, patriotism and self-reliance. At the moment, we're basically telling them to act like girls.

If you look at public schools systems in the west, you will notice the incredible amount of boys on adderal and ritalin. The chemical pacification of boys into girls has been taking place for the past 20 years and is increasing.

The current crop of teachers doesn't know how to teach boys effectively, due to their rather liberal feminist based education training in college and the fact that they harbor a dislike for any challenge to their linear thought patterns. The teaching methods of today supress male behavior and thought patterns intrinsic to males. We are seeing the results in our young male's with self esteem issues, lower college admissions, and violence-striking out at percieved disrespect.

Boys naturally question and push back on teaching that is not logical or fact based. This is the challenge boys present to female teachers. A lot, I mean a lot of female teachers cannot teach boys effectively. My Mom used to teach graduate level workshops for teachers on how to structure teaching methods to boys. She told me she had a rather difficult time getting young female teachers to think in a different format then what they had been indoctrinated into in the newly liberalized and reformed teaching methods of the 1980's forward. The reformed teaching methods were a direct result of feminism, and my Mom hated it. Even though she was a Women's-libber herself.

Boys need challenges, big obstacles to tackle and overcome. Mr. Issac Berg was my pre-physics teacher in high school. He was a retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant and was the toughest sob I have ever met. No one screwed around in his class. both the boys and girls admired the man. He taught physics from a military perspective. An example is the formula for kinetic energy:

KE = 1/2m*v^2 (Kinetic energy equals 1/2 mass multiplied by velocity squared)

We learned the formula by calculating the kinetic energy of different weight bullets with differing velocity. Slower, heavier bullets yielded more physical trauma then light, high speed bullets. For slower and heavier bullets think of the Colt 1911 .45ACP versus a .22LR. The .45 will knock you down if it does not kill you and cause psychological trauma, simply because you were hit and knocked off your feet. The .22 won't do that. The .22 is much higher in velocity, but due to the light bullet, it has less kinetic energy than the slow and heavy .45 bullet.

That is they type of military matter of fact teaching Mr. Berg used. A bit gory, but fact based and it was the perfect fit for boys to learn physics. Other teachers hated his use of military type science to teach physics, but they could not argue with his students test scores. They were in the top 2% of the school district. He was a cool guy. We read "The Dancing Wu Li Masters", a kind of trippy look at Quantum Physics. A Really neat book.

Feminism and the left hate military thought because it causes the individual to think in multiple patterns. You are part of a group and are duty bound to do what is necessary to keep your group safe. You are required to execute orders given to you. You are an individual who is fully capable of making decisions and committing to actions on your own. You are able to analyze a situation and come up with a plan of action.

That type of thought clashes with feminism because it strips group think and group feel out of the equation. Men question authority and their orders if they do not comply with logic and common sense. Women usually do not.

Men are expected to "go it alone" when confronted with a situation where strength is needed. Women pack together when strength is needed.

The more I read Chuang Tzu's Tao of the Absurd writing and poems, the more I see feminism in it's true light. As the current teachers of today cannot step out of a linear, serial way of thinking, neither will feminists step out of the linear dogma of their beliefs, no matter how much evidence is shown to discredit their mindset.

We are dealing with a type of group think and mentality that kept generations thinking the earth was flat and their were sea monsters at the edge of the abyss.

Glad to hear your story, Aristotle. I can imagine having an uphill struggle in Australia even more so than in the US. I'm also glad that you're working with children, putting your experiences to good use. The system likes to get at them when they're young, so it's all that more important to work with kids. I can relate a lot to some of your experiences, especially about being made to feel ashamed of being male throughout school.
