Seriously though, we do sometimes go overboard with the foul language and it simply looses its effect.

The seriousness of the issues we discuss and bring/send out can get minimised by ourselves being seen as unreliable yobs.

It isn't about 'free speech' or censorship. It is about wanting to get a message across and accepted.

Messages have to be prepared with the reader in mind. If they have to fight their way through a thicket of distateful and useless shite, they may well just turn away. And another man done gone.

So use some self restraint and friggin' curb your passions.

The difference between what you said and how I think is this:

When I talk to you Percy, I am talking to you. I never talk to the lurkers so why should I dress up my words for them?

I don't wish to be censored and it really isn't necessary because we can govern ourselves if allowed to. A person who curses too much will be ignored more often, simple as that.
