Women are known to be inconsistent and deny it, but for us here to deny that men can be just as bad is just more denial.

You've never been cheated, swindled, lied to, manipulated, by a man wishing to either sell you something you don't need, or trying to take your girlfriend right from under your nose, or your job, or muddy your reputation? I find it hard to believe, Garak, that you haven't. But I will say this: when it comes to aggressive behavior, men and women do express aggression just a little bit differently. Men tend to physically fight more, bully, or engage in unfriendly competition, and women physically fight (less often, perhaps) but engage in what TOO calls "character assassination" and verbal/emotional combat.
