Re: Perhaps our government knows they can't control men!
I didn't call you anti-American (nor anti-Romanian in your case) and that is why you are reported.
I don't know why it surprises you, you INTEND to insult me by calling m anti-American. Is it any wonder I am insulted by it?
Oh and:
Just full of personal attacks aren't you RV. The health care policies of a country YOU DON'T EVEN LIVE IN should not cause this much anger.mononeural

We're all adults here, yes?
Let's behave that way then.
Stop the childish shit.
Minor insults from either side are not condoned, but not particularly infractionworthy. Nonetheless, this petty bickering will only lead to a snowball - so nip it in the bud now. One of you, preferably both, needs to be bigger person and just click that infamous "ignore xxx" button if you can't agree to disagree.

Garak
I have a solution! I miss arguing with you.....leave the Romanian and come back to me!
"Civilization can only revive when there shall come into being in a number of individuals a new tone of mind, independent of the prevalent one among the crowds, and in opposition to it- a tone of mind which will gradually win influence over the collective one, and in the end determine its character. Only an ethical movement can rescue us from barbarism, and the ethical comes into existence only in individuals."

Re: Perhaps our government knows they can't control men!
Damn. I thought I was the pet.

I have to say, even though I got an infraction for the finger, the admins have let me squeak by on other things. You know how I can be. I can't fault them for giving me infractions (I've had four or five, I think) when I probably deserved more than that.
I think they try to cut everyone a bit of slack because most of us have said stuff that borders on (or is) a personal attack. It's probably a challenge for them to try to sort out what to infract or what not. I'm just guessing.

Re: Perhaps our government knows they can't control men!
IT is difficult to determine infraction-worthiness (is that a freaking word?) in these sort of 'debates'.
People tend to ride the line (as I have personally as well) but at some point, we should start to respect each other enough to not ride that line in the first place. Even if we dislike one another.
Please folks.

Re: Perhaps our government knows they can't control men!
Yes, because he wants the government to control even more of everything, without amending the Constitution. So he wants his government to do unconstitutional things - and to be honest, I know that politicians could care the less about the oath they take - but I guess Garak doesn't either. If he'd want to amend the Constitution, then he'd respect his oath and amending the Constitution is American and more importantly the LEGAL way to do it.

Grow the fuck up.
Obviously, asking to take the arguments elsewhere - not here - is too much to have asked.
