It's hard work getting men to change their frames of reference regarding women. We just have to keep chipping away I suppose. I've been using the phrase female chauvinist pig for decades. When terms like that slip into common usage we will start to get somewhere. The majority of men still don't even know what misandry is.

While neither seem to be perfect people...Alec Baldwin had an interesting comment in his interview RE his new book about Dads / divorce / family court / alienation.

He said that in his marriage ~"all dissent was considered abuse". On any issue between he and his wife, if he offered his view and it was not 100% supportive of her view, then he was being abusive.

I guess his "job" in her view was to donate sperm to her, to shut up, and to pay child support, with no parental rights postdivorce.

Well when I used the fcp term in the 80s I got a fairly surprised look, but that was it, at least these days there's often a wry smile and you can see a few cogs turn in their heads. But it still hasn't slipped into common useage.
