I would like to see positivity from Tera too.

Has anyone else (mindful of Yan's post) given thought to this form of ranting from Tera.

There are fine men here who occasionally go off at a tangent and rant and rave, throwing crockery too. They are usually going through a hard time that we rarely hear about until later, after they have had a whack or two. Is this just Tera's way, I wonder.

We are usually sympathetic to the ranting chap even if we criticise the venomous words.

I hope we can all cool down and give Tera the 'accomodation' we give one another. The benefit of being here.

Maybe it is... but the guy's usually rant for a few days - many have the decency to take a walk and come back whence they've cooled off. This doesn't seem to the be case with Tera..

And what are these "good reasons"? Let me guess, because a HANDFUL of men, on what, alas, is a relatively-obscure website, are bitter towards women? I have asked you this before Tera but I'll ask again. In light of their being few if any places for men like us to vent and discuss our pain with others what do you expect us to do?

As someone who works with the emotions of people it seems you would understand that a place like this is going to have people that have emotional baggage that may spill over into our time here.

I guess we are supposed to just keep it bottled up so women like you can tell us what to do and how to think. But that just defeats the purpose of fighting misandry doesn't it?

But here you are aggressively trolling on a men's forum whose voice is but a quiet whisper in the effective beyond, where there is thousands of feminist outlets of expression which reach out most potently and noisily into every aspect of the media. Yet you begrudge our little spot here?

I love music better than women. Music makes me feel good and I can connect with it and it can connect with me on a deeper level. Women want to undermine us rather than understand us. I don't care so much about relationship issues except for how they relate to men's issues. Relationship stuff aren't really men's issues. I'm thinking this over and most women don't really give me reason to like them. I either dislike them or feel neutral. There are few individual women that I like, the rest are people I don't know or people I'm glad I don't know. Women think they can say and do whatever they want to men and we should forgive them, move on, accept them and be loving.

As far as I can tell, I might actually agree with Tera on this one. If most women were men, with their attitudes, we wouldn't like them at all. The only reason men put up with their crap is because of biological impulses. This doesn't benefit men though, it benefits women. Imagine if I called people racist but acted like a total prune. Whether they're racist or not, calling them racist wouldn't make them like me more. Calling men misogynists, whether true or not, does not make men like you.

Well, zuberi, for the most part I currently disagree with her... BUT one thing I DO agree with her about is you being a misogynist. Someone who repeatedly and systematically refers to women as whores, trouts, sluts, etc. etc. isn't exactly a woman-lover is he? And I know, I know - you haven't used those terms in a while... but ONLY after being repeatedly asked to stop using them by admins here. If you hadn't been asked, you'd still be doing it.

But in your own way, you've helped prove that AM isn't promoting misogyny like feminists pretend it does... You're the living proof of that, because you have moderated yourself by request of AM admins... Now if AM was all about promoting or ignoring misogyny, you would still be free to keep referring to women in those unnecessary and offensive terms.
