A can of worms. If you say men are more intelligent, you are a misogynist. If you say women are more intelligent, you are enlightened.

Men and women think differently and process information differently.

The woman's statement:

I’m definitely the more intellectual person in the relationship and I’m at work full time while he is raising our daughter.
“I think women probably always knew deep down that they were the more intelligent ones – but as the gentler sex we were quiet about it and let men continue to believe they ruled the world.”

Is typical of modern women these days. So I must ask the question: If women are more intelligent then men as a whole, why has history not been radically different? It has nothing to do with being "kinder and gentler".

Men and women are intelligent in different areas. To assume men are more intelligent than women, or vice versa is pure malarkey.

"more intelligent" . . . at doing what? Sheer survival or happiness and thriving ?

Now that women are being forced, with no "choice" at all, out of the "stay at home life" by more & more men - just like their fellow "progressive, modern" women counterparts proclaim they should - i'd say they've become generally better "task orientated" than us at working within "a system" the overall "direction, methods & goals" of which men, on the other hand, certainly find themselves starting to increasingly question & challenge instead.

The official "war on women" is real - we didn't start it but does someone really need to end, put a finish to it ( or, like in international politics, has WAR indeed become our new norm, "way of life"?)

Finding the right balance between home and family, and work and career, is a very real women's issue, and I have seen it approached in any number of ways, often with impressive results that neither marginalize the woman in question nor compromise her family life. It can be done, and is being done, and any argument saying men or patriarchy have somehow forced women into either role is spurious at best.

Actually, the most liberated, empowered, successful, capable, at times downright fearsome women I have known have been mothers, homemakers, and traditionally-oriented toward parental roles for both parents, as well as at the same time holding top positions in education, banking, public service and small business; and I see little help from careerist, elitist feminist dogma coming their way, and often these women are the first ones to say exactly that.

It seems feminst theorists have not resolved their own party-line posture on this after all these decades, and will elevate working women only to the extent that they can be named as victims, unless, of course, a woman can afford to send her children to elite private schools while she goes on to circumcise half of Africa...

I held this ground in a number of threads on the Harvard Business Review blog site, and gained quite a few endorsements from working mothers in the process (until I was banned, that is, by the female-dominated editorial staff).

This is a discussion I would like to see go into much greater depth, the elitist component of feminist social-engineering agenda.

I think today's confusion between the sexes stems in part from the fact that the "myth of christainity" has done nothing but totally fog the issues at hand and now that it's been pretty much totally discredited we are on the verge of a wholly new paradigm that better seeks to "balance" and "incorporate" us both.

As predicted in the bible the end-times of the "Age of Jesus" is fast approaching, the official date being 2150, and as we rediscover the "mysteries" of our ancient, more natural (so-called pagan) based Egyptian heritage perhaps the new "golden-age" of Aquarius will evolve, is yet to come?

"Matriarchy" is NOT the opposite of "Patriarchy" . . . .
but rather the union, incorporation of both the masculine & feminine elements into One.

It is HOPE & IDEAS that drive history; and "elitist political authority" has always been monopolistic, in direct opposition to "the truth". Whether we actually survive the current ignorance & evil politics of today only time will tell.

Women, due modern democracy, have done a pretty decent job at embracing their "opposing ideal of masculinity" but can us men say the same ? Having current supreme power over reproduction how can the masculine paradigm ever again hope to survive & thrive ? In Egyptian times it seems didn't take long (for the very first time?) before the reactionary "priestly class" suppression to kick in . . . ?

Research has linked testosterone to intelligence before, thus making men more intelligent.

I concede there are dumbasses in both genders. The only difference I have found, which is a constant, is navigating.

I understand, but for how long do we countenance such bad behaviour before it unduly encroaches on our members who abide by the rules and conduct themselves responsibly? I take people bad-mouthing the membership personally.
