My Christmas diet...
By diet, I mean all the crap I'm shoving down my gullet today.
BRING ON THE CALORIES!!!!
This morning I made loaded egg bagels.
Sausage, bacon, tomato, onion, green and red pepper...all chopped finely.
Saute the veggies in a 6-8 inch pan for about 30 seconds then crack a couple eggs on top of the mixture. Break the yolks with the flipper type utensil you will be using to flip the business in the pan.
While the eggs and veggies are frying try to keep the form of the mixture compact enough to fit on a bagel. for the first 20 seconds or so it's a bit of a challenge but when the egg stars to fry and solidify it will hold.
When the egg is cooked about 3/4 of the way through flip the whole deal over and top with your bacon and sausage.
(Note: If you cook your sausage loose and it's not in patty form you can just add this to the veggie mix in the beginning and cook it into the egg mixture. If you made patties then just plop it on top of the flipped egg and veggie.)
Sprinkle your choice of shredded cheese on top and cook until the cheese is melted.
Throw that beast on a bagel (toasted or not) and plow through it.
I've only gotten past this point so far and have just switched from coffee to egg nog.
The lunch deal will follow shortly.
Merry Christmas guys and gals, may your holidays be filled with congested arteries and high cholesterol.
We'll get back to the healthier shit after the new year, for now eat up, IT'S THE HOLIDAYS!~Politicians are just a group of lawyers over complicating life for everyone else.

Re: My Christmas diet...
Kansas City strip steak, broiled with garlic and soy sauce, red potato things that I have no idea what was in them, and corn on the cob slathered in mayonnaise and BBQ seasonings (I know...I didn't think highly of it either, until I tasted it)
2 beers 3 Laphroaig scotches later I'm for bed and a warm and cozy vagina.
Merry Christmas everybody.~Politicians are just a group of lawyers over complicating life for everyone else.

Gee,
It'd be one thing if you Americans could use common terms.
I mean, broiled?
Over here we say fried in butter.
The red potato things might have been Yams and for best effect and taste need to be roasted alongside beef or lamb, with a coating of honey/soy sauce just before serving, while still hot.

Re: My Christmas diet...
Mike,
over here broiling is when you use high heat from the top down in the oven. As in most ovens here have an element or burner at the bottom for baking and the upper for broiling..

20 cups of coffee and 10 smokes.. I eat food now and then, usually when someone makes it for me, can normally shift a good 6000 calories in a sitting, which is almost as impressive as the handsome log cabin I can build the following day..

You'll get him to join? How does that work? "Smart-ass", probably means he thinks sometimes - but not enough nor too deeply.
This Christmas, it will be up to me to put any kind of food in the mouths of my family. Disaster threatens at every turn. We deal with with the consequences as I write.
Meanwhile Missy has an extensive trivial video library and an army of narrow-minded sycophants that includes admins.
I need some time out to take stock. As Monty Python would say, "This is too silly!"
