question about computers

i have a glitch-seems after i get so many lines in a post,thread or anything for that matter,my comp bounces the page around and i cannot quote or do anything very easily with out the page jumping up on me.
i remember a while back when i had my comp reloaded-it asked me about some settings-i am not sure if i set them right?

if this helps-my comp continually tells me that i have run out of memory at line 15

what does this mean and how do i fix it.

i am sure when the comp asked me about lines on a page or something like that-that i set it at 15--anyone know how to remedy this?

What you need to do it light candles around the computor.

Leaving bowls of shredded wheat in front of it overnight may also help. If you are so inclined, sacrificing chickens and goats by slitting their throats in the same room has been a traditional propitiation for several thousand years in some parts of the world.

I would suggest sacrificing a virgin - an even older tradition - but you would be hard pressed to find one in time to prevent a complete 'blue screen of death'.

On the AM page I often get a note that there is an 'overflow stack on line 15'.

I have no idea what it means.

I have a problem with my Flt Sim. It freezes occasionally after a flight. I found a problem in the Logbook file and have to 'restore' the logbook from several days previously. I have lost records of quite a few of my more spectacular crashes!

If these are homebuilt or 'locally built' computers, they may be using inexpensive memory modules OR the wrong bus-speeds, which also causes stack overflows.

I would run a virus checker on it and make sure you ain't got none. Also, in order to analyse the situation we would need to know the operation system you are running, memory size and whether or not you have an anti-virus program, up to date, running.

That would be a good start.

About how old is your computer? What operating system? (I'm assuming some version of Windows) Some random errors can be caused by wear on your hard drive because it's incapable of providing a stable environment for system libraries...

I would try another browser at first. Try Firefox, Chrome or Opera. I have no problem using this board with Firefox.

I have a magic machine with enormous balls, wot I got to replace my old wood-fired thingo. It uses Win7; it has gigabytes of wotsits and Rams are scared of it (I haven't seen any rams in my living room); I have Chrome and Explorer and Firefox, and a download speed that shows the page I want even before I have pressed enter.

(The 'Chrome' by the way, has an 'Incognito' page which so far Tera hasn't appeared on)

I have a virus checker that finds even the common cold and a 'Cleaner' that wipes my nose for me.

I still get the stack overflow sign on AM.

So this happens with multiple users on different browser only (?) when browsing Antimisandry. This surely seems to be an admins problem....those poor guys
