This is simple and profound !!! To continue to live this mortal life, I must eat dead substance, substance, which at one time, had life in it. As William Marrion Branham, God`s vindicated Prophet stated: ORDINATION. 62-1104E. E-9. Only thing you had to do is just say, go ahead and be baptized, and Jesus wouldn't have had to die. It taken death to bring life, always, because we only live by death. Anything can only live by death. Dead substance is what we live by when we eat. Every day you eat, something has to die for you to live physically. "Well," you say, "I don't eat meat." Well, I don't care what you eat you; something died. That's right. You eat a potato; it died. You eat kale; it died. You eat bread, wheat died, corn died. Whatever it was, some form of life dies, 'cause you only live by dead substance. And then, if you have to live natural by dead substance, how much more does it take in Something that died that you might live eternally? Christ died that man could live again. And that only has Life, is in Christ. __________________________________________________ _______________ Eat fish and chips – the fish had to die. Eat a beefburger – the cow had to die. Eat a bacon sandwich – the pig had to die. Eat chicken soup – the chicken had to die. Eat a Lamb chop – the sheep died. If a person is a vegetarian, the same principle holds true: Eat a pea – the pea had to die. Eat a carrot – the carrot had to die. Eat a turnip – the turnip had to die. These vegetables had to have life in them to cause then to grow, it is just not quite so obvious as with animals, as vegetables do not move around, make noises etc. Therefore, as the “Natural world” parallels the “Spiritual world” as God made it that way, we can see that to live eternally, someone had to die, and that someone was the Lord Jesus Christ...... 1 Peter 3:18. For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit And we can “Eat” spiritually of Christ..... John 6:52 – 54. 52. The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? 53. Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. 54. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. There it is – so plain and simple !!! Robert.
