William Marrion Branham tells in his own words, about the Mexican baby who God brought back to life.
I have listed three occasions when he speaks on this event, as with all of us, when we witness to an event, each time he gives some different information.....
GOD PROJECTING HIS LOVE. 57-0806. E-22.
Thousands of people swarmed in; we couldn't get to the building, or to the place. They had to let me up a ladder and then down into the bull ring.
The night before a lady had come there at three o'clock in the afternoon, and people gathered at nine o'clock at morning.
No chairs to set in, they leaned against each other. And they were waiting till nine that night. What will they do in the day of judgment against the self-styled groups that wouldn't even darken the door of such a place?
And Mr. Moore kept telling me, "There's something going on at the prayer line."
And a Mexican minister from California, Brother Espinosa (Many of you may know him.), he was giving out the prayer cards and trying to keep the people line, and he couldn't do it.
And Billy come to me (my boy) and said, "Daddy, he can't hold that line any longer. There's a little woman down there with a dead baby that died this morning, and she's climbing over the top of the men."
I said, "Well, Brother Moore, you go down there and pray for the baby."
And Brother Moore started down, and I looked out here in front of me, and a vision come of the little baby raising up.
Now, we can't say these things unless they're authentic. And the little baby... I noticed the little mother down there screaming, "Padre." The word "padre" means "father"; she was Catholic.
And when I said, "Bring the little lady here."... And she had a blanket over it, it soaking wet. I couldn't speak to her, no one there to interpret.
I just laid my hands over on the little baby and offered to God a little prayer. And this Bible laying open here now, God knows the truth, the little fellow let out a squeal and begin to kick as hard as he could. That just alarmed the whole Mexico.

FROM THE BEGINNING IT WASN'T SO. 59-1125. E-4.
Billy come to me, and he said, "Daddy, you--you'll have to say something yourself," said, "there's a little Mexican woman standing out there," said, "no one can hold her."
Said, "There's twenty-five men can't even hold her." And she had a dead baby, had died that morning.
And so the little fellow... It was drizzling rain. And the mother, young, beautiful little Spanish mother, looked to be in her twenties, twenty-three, twenty-five.
And the ushers couldn't hold her; she'd climb right over the top of them, this baby under her arm. And so, I said to Brother Moore, I said, "Go down there and offer prayer. How long's the baby been dead?"
"Since..." Said, "since nine o'clock this morning."
And I said, "Well, was it pronounced dead by the doctor?"
"Yes, sir."
I said, "Well, just go down there, Brother Moore, and pray for the baby and maybe that'll console the little woman."
And so he started over; that's Brother Jack Moore. Many of you remember him, with me on my first journey up the coast here.
And he went over to pray for her. And I looked out over that great audience there, out in the open, a big place like--about the size of the bull ring, but it wasn't as--as... It wasn't there because the church wouldn't let us have it there.
So then, I looked out and I saw a little baby that was laying on something, and it just raised up and started gooing and jumping its little hands up and down. I knew what was going to happen.
So I said, "Just a minute, Brother Moore, maybe I'd better see her."
And the ushers--Billy got down there and got them--the ushers to understand, so they moved them back.
And the little lady run to the platform, fell on her knees, and she had her baby under this little blanket. And I tried to speak to her, only Brother Espinosa couldn't get over to where I was then, because many ushers had cut across this way on the platform.
And I just laid my hands on the little baby. Now, the God of heaven Who's Book this is, knows that it's true. Laid my hands on the bla--the blanket; the little baby was beneath the blanket.
I couldn't make the little lady understand what I meant. And she was a hollering, what is that? "Padre," is that what... "Pa--Padre, Padre, Padre."
And so I put my hands on the blanket, over the little baby, I said, "Heavenly Father, I do not know what this all meant, but I seen a little baby in front of me gooing and playing just a few moments ago. If it's this child, let life return to it."
And that baby let out a scream, begin to kick blankets every way.
That little mother, I... "Brother Espinosa," I said, "now don't--don't publish that, Brother Espinosa, till you get a doctor's statement from them."
So he went the next day and got a statement from the peoples, and the doctors, and so forth, that the baby had died. And it was living, fine, well.

PERSEVERANCE. 62-0520. E-69.
A little Mexican woman that morning took her little baby to a doctor, just barely breathing, pneumonia choked into its lungs.
While she was in the office, the little baby ceased to breathe. The doctor put the pulmotor on him, and he couldn't bring it back. It was dead, nine o'clock that morning. Told the mother, said, "We'd take it back..."
She said, "No, I'm going to keep the baby." And she put it in her arms and run home.
She went to her neighbor and said, "Did not you say that one of our people received his sight last night over there?" She was a Catholic. Said, "Did not... say one of our men received his sight over on that platform?" She said, "I'm taking my baby."
There she went with that baby through the rain. She went nine-thirty, ten o'clock that morning, and stood there till half past ten that night, 'fore I ever come in.
It raining, them poor Mexicans standing there; them women, their hair down in their face, standing there in that rain, falling in their face.
Brother Jack Moore, and many of the brethren, we come down. There was so many around that arena they had to take me over, and climb up a ladder on the outside, and put a rope around my arms, and let me down, to get to the platform in the back of it, so many people around.
I got up there and begin to speaking. When I'd just begin to speak, and I heard the awfullest commotion to my right. I thought, "What is that?" And I tried to preach, and there was an awful commotion again.
And Billy come over to me, my boy; he said, "Daddy, I give Brother Espinosa them prayer cards, and he give them over..." I don't know, I called him "Mañana," he was so slow.
And said, "He give them... He give out the prayer cards, and that little woman over there wants a prayer card for her dead baby." Said, "Daddy, she's been standing here all day in that rain." Said, "We just can't hold her."
Said, "We got around one hundred fifty--two hundred ushers standing there, and she just tears right on through them."
And said, "We've throwed her off the platform three or four times." And said, "We just can't do nothing with her."
I said, "Brother Moore, go over and pray for her. She don't know who's who. Just go on..." Little old Mexican woman, I... She was a nice, pretty little woman about... little fellow, and looked to be about twenty-five years old, probably her first baby. And so, Brother Jack started to walk over there.
And I said, "I was speaking about our Lord..." And I looked out, and I seen a little dark-faced Mexican baby standing before me, no teeth, just gooing and laughing.
I--I looked again. I said, "Wait a minute, Brother Moore. Tell her to bring the baby here."
And they opened up the line. When the... Brother Espinosa... Many of you brethren know him, you Assembly of God brethren. He was... That's where he's from.
And they made--opened up the line. Here this little woman come running up there, and fell down on her knees, saying, "Padre, padre."
I said, "Get up. Stand up." And she had beads in her hand. And I said, "Just put them away."
I said, "What's the matter?"
Brother Espinosa interpreted. Her baby was dead, and she was standing there crying, tears, her little eyes swelled up, little mother.
She had it laying under a little blanket, little blue-looking blanket hanging down. There was the little dead baby. It was stiff, you could see the way its little arms and things laying; stiff, been dead since that morning.
I said, "Now, Brother Espinosa, don't interpret this." I said, "It's a vision I just saw."
He said, "What?"
I said, "A vision. Don't say nothing. Let me pray."
I said, "Heavenly Father, I--I don't know what this means. But I was looking out there, and before my eyes come a little baby looked to be about this size."
I said, "I'm going to lay my hands upon its little dead form." And about that time it started kicking and screaming, as hard as it could, like that. I said, "Brother Espinosa, go to her doctor, get a written statement." He did.

As only God could bring the dead baby back to life, God was vindicating His Prophet......
Malachi 4:5.
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
