Except a man be born again.
John 3:1 – 5.
1. There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
2. The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN AGAIN, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
“See” means to understand, I can explain something to someone and then ask them, “Do you see what I mean ?”
4. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Jesus is not speaking of a “Natural birth,” rather, Jesus is talking of a “Supernatural birth,” which is to receive the “Baptism of the Holy Ghost.”
5. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of WATER and of the SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
A man must be born of TWO things, both “WATER” and “SPIRIT” not just one or the other, to be born of water, is to be baptised the Bible way.
As the Kingdom of God consists of the word of God, it follows that only when a man receives the baptism of the Holy Ghost, which wrote the word of God, can a man enter into the Kingdom of God, at this point in time.
Jesus gave the “Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven” to Peter, NOT to Peter and his successors......
Matthew 16:19.
And I will give unto thee (Peter) the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
On the day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit came down and infilled the believers in the upper room, Peter and the others went out into the street, Peter preached his first sermon as a “Born again” believer, when the people asked the question, “What shall we do?” Peter, the man who had the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, replied......
Acts 2:38.
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
There are the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven:
1: “Repent” which means “Turn from sin.”
2: “Be baptized” in water, by complete immersion, in the name of Jesus Christ, which is the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
3: God will then remit a man`s sins.
4: The man will then receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost, he will be Born again.
A man may say, “But I am already a believer” so was Peter, he had walked with Jesus for 3.5 years, Jesus had given him the authority to raise the dead, to heal the sick, to cast out demons, and to preach the Kingdom of God, and yet Peter still had to be “Converted”......
Luke 22:32.
But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
Peter was “Converted,” that is to say, “Born again” on the day of Pentecost, a person believes so as to receive.
I know that the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven still work today, as they worked for me !!!
It`s as simple as ABC Always Believe Christ.God kept His word and sent His Prophet in this day.
Judgement is coming, time is fast running out !!!
Do you know where you stand with God ?

Re: Except a man be born again.
If Peter decided to pass the Keys on to his successors, then that was 'bound in heaven' along with the rest of his decisions, shirley? The Church of Rome which Peter started is the Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Catholic means Universal. I didn't read anywhere that Jesus gave any keys to King Henry 8 or some European renegade pastors.Jesus gave the “Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven” to Peter, NOT to Peter and his successors......

The birth process is sometimes quite long and arduous, Floaty.

Re: Except a man be born again.
Politics, religion, culture, and professionalism are the main forces on this planet that keep people fettered. Too many of us are too afraid to think for ourselves and follow our instincts, if we can even hear our own instincts anymore. Those in positions of power over us condition us from a very early age with the influence of politics, religion, culture, and professionalism so that we no longer think. We react.
If we challenge other people's politics, religion, culture, or job, there is no exchange of intellectual ideas, facts or hypotheses, only shaming tactics and hotheaded emotions. "How dare you question my religion." "Don't disrespect my culture!" "She's just doing her job." There's no discussion as to whether something is right or wrong. "That's just the way it's done" is supposed to suffice when our minds get out of line and our mouths follow. Debates must be confined to the corral of limited thought and not allowed free-range foraging.
Ironically enough, whenever someone wants to conjure up an image of evil in a discussion, in print, on TV, or in a movie, the trite image of a Nazi is always used. It has gotten rather old. What is a "nazi" anyways? It is someone who mindlessly "follows orders" and carries out political, religious, cultural, or job-related tasks without question. What's the irony? It is simply that, in spite of the much-deserved and yet over-used image of the Nazi as the epitome of evil, most people on this earth are in fact nazis. They carry on their traditions, culture, tasks and orders without question and will ardently defend their way of life against any opposition. What happens if you dare to question politics, religion, culture or professionalism? You are deemed a madman, excuse me, madperson. (Hey the auto-correct system is indicating that "madperson" is not a word. How sexist!)
Who wants to admit to having spent a lifetime pursuing superstitions and vanity anyways? It's much easier on the mind to just defend that hill and die on it. After all, someone will come along and honor you with flowers, a plaque or a holiday named after you. If you go off the reservation, no one will honor you. Our human farms must not be tampered with. There will be fodder for everyone and everyone will be fodder. Sweet dreams.Last edited by Dylan MacVillain; 28th-May-2012 at 04:34 AM.
