Of course, we also need more white-painted cabs. And blue ones. Pink ones. Multicoloured ones. We shouldn't discriminate against wheel-challenged cabs either, we need more cabs with one, two or three wheels. And, since achievement is irrelevant, we need more of them driven by drunks and psychotics instead of boring sober and competent professionals. All hail diversity!

Would a one-legged woman in a wheelchair, piggy-backing a 'passenger' (read: granddaughter holding onto the bars and feet resting on the the frames) also count in this? I think such a sweet granny-cab could do wonders for the economy.

Or am I going too far with that image?

I suggest that most mayors of London are male & white, and called Ken. Thus, we need to fire him and get a half decent brain in his place.

I'm very suprised that cabbies in london are msotly white; here in the states they are predominatly Indian, Pakistani, or east african

Same here, it's a bit of a shock to see a Caucasian behind the wheel. There's no status and not a lot of money. Almost no women though, some kind of discrimination I guess...
