It's most likely part of the feminist plan to get rid of male teachers so that education can be feminized and children learn all kinds of feminazi stuff.

This is why it is important to have a decent proportion of male teachers in education.

Amen brother my best role models were my teachers when I was in school.

Let's get a couple of things straight in the interests of common sense and logic ....

1. Yes, the paedophile hysteria does make men wary of becoming teachers (or care workers or other similar occupations) and even fathers are sometimes wary of touching their own children.
2. Yes, the paedophilia hysteria is promoted by the feminists - for reasons already mentioned in these forums by others - but the feminists and their manginas deliberately fail to make it clear that paedophiles (or should it be paedophiliacs?) are largely women.
3. A paedophile does not have to be a murderer and a murderer does not have to be a paedophile. There is a logical error in associating the two.
4. Paedophiles (who invented that bloody word?!) are mentally ill in much the same way as male homosexuals and female homosexuals (a.k.a. 'lesbaians'). All these things come under the heading of 'sexual perversion'.

PS - This is a great forum but it's difficult to follow in its super-panorama format. My monitor like many others is geared to 800x600!

In school, my favorite teachers (and with one exception, my best teachers) were men. For one thing, I could hear and understand them better. With my hearing impairment, women's soft voices were almost impossible to follow.

The guy never really had a leg to stand on against allegations of paedophilia, Satanic abuse and all sorts of other BS.
He served 10 years for his "wrong-doing".
But when you consider that the prosecution side of the case had so many holes in it and the way that the victims were asked leading questions by the psycho-analysts (from the US, no less).
This case was one of NZ's darkest hours.
Looks like it served the purpose of the feminist agenda, guys here won't touch a teaching career (at least not in early childhood teaching), with a 10' barge pole.

Perhaps we could do something about the pedophile hysteria by promoting the idea to femcunts that this insanity is also harmful towards women. Case-in-point, AFN has a Bachelor of Education; but doesn't teach for precisely this sort of femcunt bullshit.

Of course, they'd never go for it...

Male teachers in Canada have fallen to 30% of the overall teaching population. The reasons for this are varied, and certainly the fear of being labelled a pedophile ranks up there, but I think a lot of it goes back to affirmative action. Numerous universities began programs to purposefully exclude men from moving up the ranks of academia and to limit their numbers in teaching period. When women became the majority at these same institutions, suddenly no similar redress was necessary for men.

This kind of quota approach, and the gearing of education entirely towards women, with men making up only about 40% of university populations even as students, can only lead to a shortfall of men in teaching. Of course when women dominate the landscape it's because they're more qualified and nothing needs to be done, but when men dominate the landscape it's due to countless decades of partriarchy and an old boy's network.

Just once I'd like to have even half the advantages of the so-called "disadvantaged" groups because I'd like to move on with my career aspirations and not have doors slammed in my face for being the "priveleged oppressor white male overlord".

Feminism - ya I tried it, but I found that hypocrisy never smelt so bad.
