This is a crazy story, the daughter did not go to school, when she was 16, and now, because she did not pass the school, and she is already an adult and 19, the father is sent to jail...

How many years is it obligatory to go to school? In Europe and also in Japan it is 9 years, 6 y.o. to 15 y.o....

The funny point is that both, daughter and mother are on the side of the father, they do not accuse him at all and do not want him to be sent to jail...

No surprise, that jails for men in the Western world are always full with prisoners.
I wonder, if the person, who had custody, would be a woman, if she also had to serve a jail sentence.

It's compulsory for Americans to go to school until the age of 16, at least where I live. It might vary from state to state. So the daughter had the legal right to drop out, and there was no infraction of the law. Besides, thousands of kids drop out of high school all the time and the parents are never jailed! The jackass judge was enforcing his own agenda.

What's more, the father may lose his job because of the idiot judge:

And the court that the case was handled in, the judge's name, and the prosecutor's name would help, too...and their addresses. I think we should get a petition put together and collect signatures...I've never done anything like this before and am not sure how to go about it, but am willing to help any way I can!
