I can see it now many men will fall victim to this in western countrys. Like everything else designed to aid women I think this will be weaponized here as a tool to make false allegations seem true or as a way to commit an assault on a male under the guise of forgetfulness. I don't know the stats in Africa so I can't say how effective this will be used or abused there.

1. A rapists might be in pain, but once the adrenaline kicks in he's going to be PISSED and most likely just beat the shit out of her/kill her for doing that to him.

2. Women can use it to rape men and maim them at the same time

3. False rape. Put one in, seduce a guy you want to get even with or get out of your way, it hits home "OMG HE TRIED TO RAPE ME" and nobody will believe him.

It is barbaric and it has the potential to do way more destruction than good for everyone involved.

It's NOT a anti-rape device, because that would stop the rape from happening. This doesn't do that. It's also not a deterrent since it's completely hidden so it won't scare a rapist away. It's would only increase a violent situation into a more lethal event which can leave one of the people dead. This is for spiteful, revenge and punishment put together.

A Real anti-rape device has already been available for a long time which is the chastity belt. It prevents all sexual acts from occuring.

Just imagine what would happen when there are lethal weapons, a HIV positive person and a open vagina. Aids infected blood would pour into their vaginas and on other places of their bodies.

This product must be banned, seriously. We don't live in the middle ages anymore. There are countless of other ways to stop rape. Thinking that all and only men are potential rapists is also very sexist.

The physical damage that such a medieval inspired device causes would be similar to if a woman slides her vagina on a penis which has a translucent condom with sharp teeth on the outside. Or i.e. chainmail condoms.

This is also quite old apparently, about two years. It's strange that media only recently covered it.
