To answer literally, the point is to spread around the information you have.

If some responses appear to have little to do with your posting, don't worry too much - your information will be out 'there' and people can see the derailment tactics for what they are.

As Missy-A says, this kind of thing will blow over: that's why we have admins taking care of us. A week or two, or a month or two, someone will revisit your posting and comment to take the debate in a stronger, or different, direction again: that's the nature of a forum.

As Winston Churchill's advise goes in how to succeed:

"Never give up. Never, ever give up."

Don't let all of this dissuade you from posting. It would be a shame to miss out on valuable information over this. As experience has learnt, it won't last.

I know how you feel, Outdoors. I was very happy to see everyone back together....perhaps I was a tad overly optimistic.

Anyways, don't be discouraged and keep posting.

These things crop up from time to time but they always blow over. In a charged environment there is undoubtedly going to be friction from time to time.

This is not the first time Percy and I have bumped heads nor I am sure will it be the last. Especially where Tera is concerned.

If you are overly sensitive to such things{I am not saying you are} then AM can be a rough place from time to time.

I myself take occasional breaks from AM to recharge myself and to let the tension ease away.

If you choose not to post then so be it. But holding your posts hostage to get behavior that you want out of us has proven ineffective in the past and I suspect it will in the future as well.

ya well-when things do calm down and everyone becomes rational again-i may start posting again

'till then i am gonna join TMOTS and take a few steps back

i will come back and read but thats about it
