Thread: What's with the spelling of "women" as "wymyn" or other variations?

Thank the radical feminists of which most are lesbians..

In English most female words have a male base, as is the case with the two italicised words in this sentence. Other examples include she and actress. The only case of a word with a female base upon which a male word is built is widow, from which we get widower. How interesting, eh?

Interesting. So what's the origin of 'bitch'?

As I understand it, the word 'woman' means 'of man', based on the biblical story of how Eve was made 'of' Adam's rib. This ancient legend is of course offensive to feminits despite the fact that the Bible is God's word, and God is a woman!

But I digress. The feminits simply had to change the word 'woman' and so we now have several variations: 'womyn', 'wimmin', 'wymyn' and possibly others. There are several spellings because they're feminits and don't really know what they want and can't make up their minds, except to agree that the syllables 'man' and 'men' had to be eradicated. They could have made an entirely new word, but then no one would know what they were on about. Not that most people do anyway.

Talking of widows, here's an interesting one. Britain's worst recorded serial killer was apparently a woman (according to this bloke who's trying to sell his book ;-):

Yeah sorry, I meant to type 'first' but by the time I'd realised the error I was unable to edit it. But when you consider that this woman apparently murdered her own infant children, perhaps she was the 'worst'.

Certainly, Shipman may have had some sort of deranged view to play God, but Mary Ann Cotton by any definition I understand, was a horrendous bitch to indulge her twisted ego in killing her children.

True, but it uses 'man' as 'human', not male human specifically. If anything, it's men who should be complaining because we're actually ignored. When we say 'mankind' we're talking all humans - when we say 'woman' we're talking specifically female humans - when we say 'man' we're again talking all humans. By origins, men as in human-males do not have a means of talking about male humans only, unlike women.
