BREAKING NEWS

WASHINGTON — Osama bin Laden, the Saudi extremist whose al-Qaida terrorist organization killed more than 3,000 people in coordinated attacks on the U.S. on Sept. 11, 2001, is dead following a military operation in Pakistan and the U.S. has recovered his body, U.S. President Barack Obama announced Sunday night.
"Justice has been done," the president declared as crowds formed outside the White House to celebrate, singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" and "We Are the Champions," NBC News reported.

Obama said bin Laden, whom he called a terrorist "responsible for the murder of thousands of American men, women and children," was killed in Pakistan earlier in the day after a firefight in an operation that was based on U.S. intelligence.
Officials long believed that bin Laden, the most wanted man in the world, was hiding a mountainous region along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
It is a major accomplishment for Obama and his national security team, having fulfilled the goal once voiced by Obama's predecessor, George W. Bush, to bring to justice the mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks.
Obama declared that "the death of bin Laden marks the most significant achievement to date in our nation's struggle to defeat al-Qaida," he stressed that the effort continues.
"We must and we will remain vigilant at home and abroad," he said, while emphasizing that "the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam."

Great news. Osama bin Laden and his cohorts changed my life forever when I was 11 years old (and the course and fate of America).

The details, as of now, are still fuzzy however. First I heard that bin Laden has been dead for a week and the announcement only made today; then I hear on the tv that the operation was ordered on Friday. Then a couple other articles stated that it in fact happened early Sunday

Let me see some clarification and proof!

Look folks, I have a hard time believing this was so elusive and I read that he was shot in his own mansion built in 2005. How the fuck does a worldwide wanted man build a mansion without someone noticing for 6 years?

Ya know, Obama is running for a second term...just sayin'. I am also expecting gas prices to come down too. You would be suprised how many mountains move close to election time.

Obama bin Laden is finally killed and President Barrack Osama gets the credit! How can someone who was the world's number 1 terrorist and "whose al-Qaida terrorist organization killed more than 3,000 people in coordinated attacks on the U.S. on Sept. 11, 2001" not have made it onto the FBI's Most Wanted List? Curious fact. Politics is just theater, charades, and smoke and mirrors.

When the original AM post about bin Laden's death was posted it carried at the bottom a caveat of warning, as I talked to my sister early this morning at the start of a business day, I here she several states away, Little Sister reported the downtown area near her was cordoned off, there was an active bomb scare going on in a parking ramp.
