How do you promote men's rights issues?
Exactly as the title mentions, I try to promote the issues in my everyday life and on other internet forums I visit.
The Bible is bullshit, the Koran is a lie
The Bagavad Gita did not fall from the sky
These are the books that are written by men
They've caused wars, now follow if you can
First they created sin so they could win
Then they built the cages they could put us in
Then they took away our tribes and gave us jail
Then they took away the Earth and gave us hell -- Corporate Avenger - The Bible is Bullshit

Re: How do you promote men's rights issues?
I don't meet many people in the 'real' world but do my best to counter women when they start being negative about men whether in forums or face-to-face (probably part of the reason I tend not to have a lot of female friends
)

Re: How do you promote men's rights issues?
I've always considered the main part of a lot of activism that I do - on any issue - to be to address those who can make a difference. In politics, this is normally very easy, up to UN level, because the politicians are elected and are answerable to the electorate.
Sometimes, an issue is not under the influence of a politician but the principle remains of finding out who can influence it, who they are responsible to and finding the lever that might work.
For all that raising awareness among our fellow man is important, getting directly to the source of potential change is vastly more productive.____________________________________________
I've had "equality" hammered at me all my life. It's about time I had some of it.

Activism means just that= ACTIVISM. I have said this before and I will say it again, get a suit and go talk to your people in the state legislatures. I am located in D.C. so it is easy for me to say this to people who do not have access to their public officials to the same extent that I do but still, MAKE A FUCKING PHONE CALL OR WRITE A FUCKING EMAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These things DO make a difference.Do not ever suppose that a small group of people can never change the world. INDEED it is the only thing that ever has.

Re: How do you promote men's rights issues?
I do several of the above, albeit on a small scale, I’m certainly no Angry Harry or Paul Elam etc. I would say though that I’m more covert than overt I like printing and sticking up posters, one of my favourites is placing male oriented magazines (no not nutz) in waiting rooms (doctors, dentists etc) on top of the prevailing women’s mags. One of my biggest frustrations is that I have never met another person in “real life “(ie: outside the internet) who is aware of the manosphere …… but I live in hope.
Those who are too smart to engage in politics are punished by being governed by those who are dumber. ~Plato

Re: How do you promote men's rights issues?
For me it is a daily activity.
I have great fun posting comments on newspaper blogs - poking bears in the eye with a sharp stick.
I read many blogs, some not 'anti' anything.
Then there is my MP. I hound the bugger.
Emails flash from my screen to all sorts, inc commercial businesses, TV stations (I am in a fight with the ABC at the moment), newspaper columnists who get my goat, and of course to many MRAs to whom I give support.
I did a lot of 'deep' thought to my podcasts a while ago, making 12 of them and saying what I had to say. It was an excercise in clarification and pointed attack against misandry and feminism.
I guess I do my bit.
Cum dilectione hominum et odio vitiorum
Love the Sinner but not the Sin.
(St. Augustine)
“ For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. “
(and within ourselves)
(Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)
A Feminist is a human being who has lost her way and turned vicious.
If you meet one on the road as you Go your Own Way,
offer kindness but keep your sword drawn.

Re: How do you promote men's rights issues?
Only this morning I was at work and waiting for our 2nd staff day-staff member to arrive. While waiting with the sleeper staff, we watched a little television. In the news flashes, there was mention that xx% of young people (they did not specify male or female) were victims of intimate partner abuses... However, the images they presented over the words spoken showed the clear bias - they showed only pictures of men's fists hitting (slow-mo) innocent women who were petrified...
So I happened to mention to the sleeper-staff a sarcastic comment alike to "Oh but of course, only women are victims - well, according to television land anyway..." She replied to mention that it's more common with women than men. I responded that I'd read several accounts of men who were denied any assistance, we not included in statistical studies on DV and often were even redirected to abusers-help-lines instead of getting support and that societal expectations prohibited men from speaking up through use of shaming tactics, calling them pussies and wimps and suchlike. She seemed to actually be listening.

Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."

That's easy!
I'm promote them when I'm at the gym and when I'm hanging with my buddies. I even promote them when I'm grocery shopping and speaking to my female friend.
Greed is for amateurs.
Knowledge without wisdom is a load of books on the back of an ass.
Scorn and mockery towards men in need is one of the reasons feminism is dying as we speak!.

Re: How do you promote men's rights issues?
the first step is to acquaint young men about the hopeless sucker contract beloved by wimyn aka the marriage contract where butthead agrees to be her bondman for eternity on penalty of default but even if he honours his side of the contract 100% as cupcake has her sunset clause inserted in the contract
( her right to choose about her body and of course his too hahahah)
