Inevitable - just a matter of time

An attack from and against whom? If we're talking about feminism, then I would say that the attack is already well underway. In fact if it's feminism we're talking about I would go further to suggest the battles are over, feminism has become a malevolent dictatorship, and we're just waiting around for the shackles and ball and chains to be handed out.

If we're speaking about nation states, or in particular, the United States, I would suggest that historically, there is reason to believe an attack is coming. I do not think it is imminent, but nor do I think it will be a hundred years from now. The reason being is that our culture is modelled on the fallen society of Rome. We have played out our existence in much the same way and can expect much the same result. Just as the case of Rome, our families are in turmoil, our fertility rates are plumetting - so we substitute immigration, we're self-effacing, debt is increasing, we have granted full equality + some to women and now openly endorse homesexual sex as normal and healthy.

History makes a great guide for the future because we rarely learn from our mistakes; a generation later and we can start over from scratch. For those of us in the know, a barf bag becomes a constant companion for the duration of the trip.

The original idea was that its about feminism { I should have made that more clear } but I really like your answer. However, it can be taken as misogyny. Do we care? No, because its the truth.

no, nothing ever really changes, civilization has been about the same as it was when it was born, just with "different" ideals and beleifs, but civilization is never under threat by those within civilization, only natural things like disease or a massive astroid hitting the earth are the true threats to civilization, and they dont happen much.

Ideaologies never threaten civilization, because they are civilization, all Ideaologies look for their so-called advancement of society.
