    Average Age

I don't think there has been a poll about the different ages before and I am curious to know what the average age is of the forum members. Also to tie in with some of the responses to posts..

I'm early 30s, but look about 70, act about 3 and feel about 130s.

    Re: Average Age

I'm 47, going to be 48 this November (OMG!! A female who told her real age!! )

    After a good workout, I feel 25. On days I don't workout, I feel about 60.

I think women have it all wrong...they lie down their age because they think it makes them seem younger (all it does is make them look stupid, esp. if they say they't 39 and they look 45!)

I lie UP my age...I will tell strangers who ask, that I am 65. That way, they say, "NO WAY! You don't look a day over 35!"

You see? Most women do it all wrong if what they want is to fish for compliments!

I'm 34. I don't lie about my age, because I'm o.k. with it. I think a lot of it has to do with lifestyle and outlook. I'm super active, I run 3 miles 4 times a week....I feel great. I see myself still out snowboarding every weekend when I'm 60.

I am 44.. I have been having a midlife crisis for the past 15 years..

Its odd.. I have noted that the human body deteriorates very little, if at all, owing to the effects of aging in that period of time as long as you look after yourself..

However, the human brain is a different matter!!

Its like a sponge.. it soaks up knowledge.. unfortunately I cant squeeze it and get anything out of it as it is surrounded by a hard shell of bone at least an inch thick..

My memory is so so good I would put a goldfish to shame..

So, whatever I have learned in my life seems to be trapped there with no way out!

I have been amazed for years now, at how much power the mind has over the body. I have studied the mind-body connection, and whereas in my past I unwittingly used it against myself, for the last 7 years, I have been using it for the good!

You're only as old (or young) as you THINK you are! Your body acts accordingly to how you THINK.

Some parts of my body seem to have been stuck at age 14 for the past 3 decades..

Fortunately, those parts now have a useful outlet that they did not have in those days!!

    Re: Average Age

I'm glad this question was asked.

There really are an awful lot of young guys in the MRM. It's kinda funny when the fembots want to portray us as stodgy old men who won't get with the times, when in reality sometimes there are so many young men in the MRM that sometimes it reminds me, if only subtly, of Lord of the Flies.

Antimisandry is unique though in that it is the forum in which a lot of the older MRA's hang out, though.

That would bump the average age up to 25-30.

But when you talk about Chris Key's Men's Rights Online forum, I would DEFINITELY have to say the average age on that forum is Teen-24.

    CHRIS KEY's BOARD MEMBER AGES

    *Chris Key is 22.

    *I am 21.

    *Thornton is 21.

*I actually know how old Masculist Man is, but I'm not telling you guys, so I'm leaving him out of the calculation.

*DCM is about 64, so he is the big outlier.

*But we have had at least 4 boys, average age about 13 years old, who are "running away" from their feminist parents come on Chris Key's board. Not literally run away, what I mean is that they run to Chris Key's board because they are afraid of what their feminist parents are going to do to them and want advice, or they want a place where they can go to be respected and not beaten up emotionally all the time just for being male, which is what their feminist parents do to them.
Anyway, for whatever reason, whenever boys run away from their feminist parents, they always wind up at Chris Key's board. And we've had about 4 of them, so that's 4 x 13.

    So (4x13 + 21 + 21 + 22 + 64) / 8 = 22.5 years

Okay, so I didn't mention some of the older members of the board that would have moved the average way up, but it really does seem like there are so many young MRA's on Chris Key's board. Even more so than here.
