No really, shall I take the "we want men to be disposable cannon fodder" side or should I take the feminist side?

10 years ago I would have taken the military side without question but then again, 10 years ago I had just ETS'd with an honorable and we weren't yet involved in unjust wars. Now, I hate to think of all the good men dying for oil, money, conquest, etc... If they survive, it's only to have their wives (with the help of the military and the government) rob them blind and lead them to suicide. They go fight and die...for what? For who?

This kind of torture actually has little value. Torture does work (for example extracting confessions from parents through torturing their children) however this kind of coercion is impossible in a first-world state. Things like waterboarding and mock-executions have a very poor record. Interviewers are more likely to use psychological coercion in the same way police officers do.
