No shock here, Feminists and Conservatives will always be at odds with each other because one group wants to keep the family unit strong and supply workers for the economy, and the other group want to re-define the family unit, society, and live off the state's largesse.

I can't stand the way these people look at abortion. I can appreciate that sometimes it's the only way, but to give any kind of support, or validation to people who use it as a form of contraception, or because of something about the child they dislike (gender, developmental problems) is simply inhuman.

Abortion should only be available for situations where there is simply no other way. In most situations, there IS another way. Women taking responsibility for their own virility negates the need for those 'lifestyle abortions'. It's a cheap excuse for women to relieve themselves of responsibility.

I can not comprehend how these people can act as if abortion is the only way when there are so many methods of contraception available and even stuff like the morning after pill for when you do get pregnant.

I will respectfully take exception to this assertion, and would like to explain WHY.

It has been my opinion for several years now that the real problem is that Feminism is the ONLY thing that binds all parties in North American politics anymore. Republicans vs Democrats, Christians vs. Atheists, "conservatives" vs. "liberals", does not matter, because they all agree on ONE thing and that is Feminism. Limbaugh goes so far as to accuse anyone who doesn't support that man-hater Sarah Palin as a "sexist".

The N.O.W. admit themselves that their recent president was elected over the foaming-at-the-mouth pro-abortion candidate because of the N.O.W. Sarah Palin Feminists who don't support unlimited abortion. Abortion is the only difference and why Palin is hated so much. She is your run of the mill Feminist, she couldn't even finish her single term as governor. Those of you familiar with The Fight realize the significance of this as women change jobs FIVE TIMES more often than men, contributing to perceived wage "imbalances". Palin couldn't even finish one term. She also set about destroying the ex-husband of her sister and there are arguments that is partly why she went for gubnership.

No one takes on Feminism. It is just accepted as untouchable, an assumed norm, which is why most of North America is collapsing. Everyone waves their arms and says "taxes" or "big oil" or "budget" or whatever, but the one thing everyone agrees on is that Men and Manhood are wrong and contemptible, ALL women MUST work, women MUST vote, women cannot be permitted to enjoy being a mother and wife (which most would RATHER do anyway), etc.

This is precisely why there is no going back for the States or the Canucks. The only thing everyone agrees on is Feminism as a base for the culture. No society can survive that.

ALL women MAY work, women MAY vote, women should be permitted to enjoy being a mother and wife (if that's her choice)
