How Do You Solve A Problem Like Sarah?

Bloodthirsty Liberal How Do You Solve a Problem Like Sarah?

September 21, 2008 at 7:19 am · Filed under Sarah Palin, Feminism, Women, Liberal Nonsense

When Phyllis Schlafly gives feminists a lesson in emancipation, the world is truly turned upside down—and very much for the better:

The feminist tirades against Sarah are mostly so tiresome, but one line of their complaints is really funny. After 40 years of telling wives and mothers to get out of the home (which Betty Friedan called “a comfortable concentration camp”), put their children in day care (tax-funded, of course) and join the workforce, these same feminists now tell Sarah to stay home with her children.

Sarah doesn’t need feminist approval for her lifestyle; the only person whose OK she needs for her double career as mother and politician is her husband’s, and he seems very happy with Sarah.

Sarah Palin is an exemplar of a successful, can-do woman, and the feminists simply don’t know how to deal with her. I hope she will usher in a new era where conventional wisdom recognizes that feminist negativism is ancient history and American women are so fortunate to live in the greatest country on Earth.

“The feminists simply don’t know how to deal with her”: ain’t it the truth.

Remember, when NOW recently endorsed Obama for president, they didn’t even mention Sarah Palin. His Oneness, sure; McCain, yes; even Joe Biden (who?)—but not one word about the first woman with a reasonable shot at VP (pace Ms. Ferraro). They simply ignored the 120-pound elephant with rimless glasses and a pencil skirt in the room.

What is the most common objection you hear to Sarah Palin? More common than “lack of experience” or “violent to moose”, I hear: “She scares me.”

Ring any alarm bells, feminists? How many times was Betty Friedan dismissed as scary? Or Gloria Steinem? Or Andrea Dworkin (okay, Dworkin is scary)?

    Or Germaine
    snapshot-2008-09-21-07-04-33.jpg
    Greer?

Wasn’t part of the point of feminism—and every liberation movement of that time—to be scary?

And now the feminists run and hide from a woman who was born and raised more butch than they could ever hope to be?

Of course, I remember the scariest thing about feminists was their arguments. It is truly frightening to be faced with one’s own prejudice (even if one had not yet reached puberty); scarier still to have to allow for more than one way to see the world.

    Your turn, NOW.

Take it from the rest of us, pretending a problem doesn’t exist is the wrong way to go. Take it from a feminist herself, Phyllis Schlafly.

I would think that Palin is the devil...

But the devil is supposed to come to us as the most unlikely person. The devil will be beloved by all.

Palin is a complete moron. And it shows.

If I was Republican I would not Democrat based solely on the fact that Palin is a nightmare.

No one has yet mentioned that Sarah is Haras, backward !

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. “

Re: How Do You Solve A Problem Like Sarah?

The Fraud of Gender Feminism has been exposed by the Palin candidacy. Since she is not a Liberal, or a Socialist she is not a "Real Woman". This according to the Elitist Gloria Steinem the Gynosaur. Who has never had children, and finally married a Rich Dude in her sixties. For decades NOW (National Organization of Whiners) has said Women can have a Family and a Career. And when one does who is a Republican VP Candidate. What do the FemNags do? Demand she go back to her home and raise her children giving up her Career. Can you say Sociopaths and Liars????????????

Dear Ms. from Canada you left out the Heather Mallick insult calling those who support McCain and Palin as White Trash. Did you miss your talking points? For the record you can kiss my hairy ass. You don't get a vote. Hilliary voters are breaking for Palin and McCain. Hilliary's core staff endorsed McCain and Palin over the weekend. Bill Clinton told the Democrats to stop smearing Palin, it will backfire. Guess what? Its too late. Obama is losing Blue Democratic States and withdrawing from States he cannot win.

Boo hoo. NOW has backed another Loser. Hilliary should have been the Dem's nominee she would have had a chance to win. And she is a tough campaigner.

Personally, I am for her 100%. Two main reasons...

IF she is who she appears to be, horray for families! Horray for the 2nd ammendment! Horray for drilling!

and IF she is a wolf in sheeps clothing, well then we can finally show the world what a western woman (particularly an American woman) really is.

    In my book, it's a win-win situation.

Oh, and a third plus I guess is that if the feminists hate her, well shoot! I love her. Thyn enemy's enemy and all that...

And she goes up against Hillary Clinton in 2012, how's that for a triumph of the Matriarchy?

Personally I've no time for these "gradualist conservatives" like Palin. What they purport to offer is that even though the media, the legal system and policy making machine is run by feminists, somehow they will subvert that through subtle gradualism to give us a conservative society with no abortion, etc.

(Notwithstanding her use of feminist catchphrases "good ole boys network" and "glass ceiling".)

Idiot-conservatives buy into this idea. No, now is not the time for gradualism. Now is the time for revolution. The ballot box only moves society one way - to the left/to Matriarchy/to liberalism.

Remember George W. Bush campaigned in 2000 on small government and non-interventionism? What happened? He instigated the feminist War in Iraq and American society has not ceased its descent into Matriarchy one iota, quite the opposite in fact. Ergo, his alleged conservatism did not come to fruition. Palin will be the same.

""And she goes up against Hillary Clinton in 2012, how's that for a triumph of the Matriarchy?""

this comment presumes the USA is still extant in 2012 currently insolvent and bankrupt trillions of dollars foreigndebt with the Federal treasury buying private enterprise debt as we type

maybe foreigners no longer will buy US bonds - once confidence in a business concern goes folk typically dump the stock and the company typically is taken over or is restructured
