Most of the women on this list look obnoxious, and not particularly attractive, the only one I find so is the Isreali woman. The only female politician of the modern era I don't dislike is Thatcher, she certainly wasn't attractive, she was not constantly falling back on the fact that she was a woman though. I do not personally go along with all her policy ideas, but respect her as a leader for the way she behaved.

Hence, I respect her despite the fact that I don't really agree with her politics (ecnomic ideas for the most part although she did effect some good changes) I do agree with the fact that she considered individual merit important.
