    American Unemployment now 9.4%

and fuck you if you want to see a link.

Job losses were actually very small (relatively speaking) for the month of May, only ~375,000 (the number will later be revised ~80,000 higher, however) but unemployment jumped all the way to 9.4% probably as the result of recent graduations. The highest that unemployment has ever been in America post WWII was 10.8 percent during Reagan's first term but the unemployment rate was determined somewhat differently then and using today's methodology the early 80's UE would have been around 10.3%, which we should pass in about 3 months.

What is interesting about this latest job loss report is that it provides the first clear evidence that the rate of job losses are slowing. It is my belief (and hope) that this is only a momentary stabilization which will be followed by yet another plunge, but even if that does not happen we are faced with two inevitable sources of huge job losses in the coming months. They are:

    1. The Bankruptcy of GM and Chysler which is estimated to cost around ~800,000 jobs by the time all is said and done

    2. Massive job cuts at the State and Local level where budgets are in horrible shape. It is unknown what type of job losses we can expect from State and Local layoffs but I will conservatively estimate the number to be ~500,000 nationally.

Just those two factors right there will take US Unemployment to 10.7% even assuming there are no other net job losses in the rest of the economy whatsoever.

I liken the election of Obama to the Nazi capture of Kiev in 1941. At the time, the Nazi's appeared invinsible, but it turned out that their victory in Kiev was their high water mark although that didn't become clear until their defeat at Stalingrad in 1943.

Similarly, the Feminist/Liberal axis achieved it's biggest victory ever with the election of an uber liberal, anti American, "person of color" to the office of President of the United States. On the surface, it appeared the Liberal/Feminist juggernaugt had won the war, but actually their defeat was already certain. I knew it at the time, which helped me keep my sanity while having to witness the whores at Feministing practically orgasming over Obama's victory.

As smooth a speaker as Obama is, no words can save him from this type of employment situation. His popularity is already beginning to greatly suffer and the Democrats are going to get creamed in the 2010 elections. After that, he'll be a lame duck and we will be ready for our own Stalingrad in 2012.

Did you know that Obama actually has German blood in him?

    Re: American Unemployment now 9.4%

Slick Willy changed the formula of how unemployment figures are reported. The accurate figure is now 18.8%, not counting those who have run out of unemployment, those who stopped looking for work and those who only work part-time. Now you're up over 25%, well past the Great Depression %.

This country's economy is screwed because the government allowed tax dollars to pay for our own living-wage (remember those?) jobs to be sent overseas, and in return the taxpayers got cheap imported products. The problem is that when you lose your job, you cannot buy any of those cheap imported products, and businesses cannot do business with people who don't have any money. Anyone honest enough to explain the economics of this has to admit that we've been sold a bag of BS and there is no way out but to re-industrialize this country.

If you're not already set for life financially, it's time to sell what is not critical in your life, get out of the house if its not already paid off, hoarde cash and make your life sustainable on minimum wage income. No, I am not kidding. The social programs coming our way will bring conditions nobody alive has seen, but for the elderly who remember the 1930s.

I would rather be prudent than assumptive, anyday of the week, and twice on Sundays.

I saw Obama at the oval when he accepted victory for the Presidency - was that Oprah there standing pensively with a tear in her eye

the collapse of GM is a straw in the wind of the financial conflagration blowing down on the USA - who will buy US bonds so that the Fed can print money against this debt

I was going to say China, but they're made it known recently that continued investments in our debt SERVICE will only come through guarantees. That does not mean verbal assurances. You know what that means? Well, the documents Hillary gave the Chinese a few months ago outline a debt-for-equity swap. For those here not into economics, that means Chinese investments are now collateralized. Simpler, it means that China can take California if we default on their investments. Or Florida. I challenge you to look into it and read it, instead of swallowing some media summary about it. You are taxpayers, not representatives, and you have to read the garbage they vote on, even if they never read more than some staffer's one-page summary.

I capitalized "service" above to point out that all of the money being invested by China into America does you and me no good, it only pays for the interest on existing debt. Ever maxed out a credit card and got stuck making minimum monthly payments on high interest? You can't get another cash advance with which to make those minimum payments and hang on for another month, can you? Same thing here. Even with all the international borrowing, the interest is the only thing being paid. THE DEBT IS NOT BEING TOUCHED.

To your point... the Federal Reserve can order the US Treasury to print more fake paper money without ANY investment from ANYONE. That is why is it fake money, because there is nothing backing it up! Anything in the world becomes less valuable when more of it is made, whether it be paper money, gold or real estate. I implore all those so inclined to search "Federal Reserve" on youtube and spend an afternoon learning about it.

As of now the Fed is getting tons of help from foreign central banks because every other country realizes that the if US collapses, so do they. This cannot continue forever though.

    Nationwide average 9.4%.

Detroit itself (where I used to live)--about 21% last I heard. My mother still lives in that area. She said it's getting to where people are scavenging for copper out of abandoned houses to sell.

Where she works, they are considering "payless paydays." You're not guaranteed pay every payday--you get paid when they can afford it. That is just ridiculous.

Let Rome Burn. Let The Matriarchy Burn.

There might be some good coming out of the meltdown yet. As I said, I don't care who disintegrates the Feminist West, be it Muslims, Alaskans or the economy!

As long as it is destablised so that a new regime can develop.

The WEST and WESTERN VALUES are global slavery. Slavery of men began in the Matriarchal West decades ago!

The West and its values are beyond defence! Death to the Feminist West!
