It had to happen sometime and no doubt all those Gurus who proclaimed that you must 'love yourself' will be very happy.

We now know that marriage equality is everyone’s right, and we dare not allow prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness to come in the way of real love. So ifyou happen to be head over heels in love with yourself, then who are we to denyyou your right to marry?

Only some religious cavemen would dare to deny the auto-erotic their rights. Only some fundamentalist nut job would keep self-love banned and hidden in the closet. Only an ugly bigot would deny any person their right to marry themself.

Will you, Fred, take this right hand, to have and to hold etc etc, 'til bigotted, intolerant Sharia Law sever it?

It makes someone sound like they had one too many acid trips. For me, marriage is synonymous with a man and woman joined as one.

I imagine the divorce would be pretty damn awkward.

Ohhhh!! Just imagine all those nice pressies you could buy yourself. have as many bridesmaids as you wish (Don't forget the bridesmaid's wish in 4 wedding and a funeral, get laid) and get to pick out your own tux. It would be the first in the history of mankind where the "Groom" would actually have a say in the festivities..

It was that which Bill alluded to, Mk. And yes, I had seen a report of it too.

Here's another one - couldn't possibly have anything to do with a love of self as it relates to "survivorship benefits", could it ?

I know govt wants everybody on "the hook" so they can change the rules everyday and still play God but WHO are you going to answer to Percy, now that you and yer "better hand" are married too ? Sounds like a conspiracy - perhaps when you go BLIND you'll apply for early life-time benefits as well?
