I got tired of the Politics of Adversarial terminology of the other threads using sanitized and misleading euphemisms for the Attack on Marriage by Radical Gender Feminist / Homosex activists... Nothing in the least bit 'gay' about such hatemongering... And decided a new topic title would better suit the subject. Ohso In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act. George Orwell '<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Conventional Wisdom Lacking at DNC (FRC) The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is putting its money where its mouth is. According to public records, the party, which last weekend unveiled the most radical platform ever seen at a national convention, gave $25,000 to defeat California's marriage protection amendment. As its nominee drifts even farther to the left, the DNC has been quick to follow with serious concessions in the platform, including the first-ever mention of repealing the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). With this $25,000 gift, Democrats are making an unprecedented statement that marriage is no longer a valued institution within the party. Although DNC Chair Howard Dean is an outspoken proponent of same-sex "marriage," he should know that a surprising percentage of the grassroots is not. At last count, 30 percent of California Democrats supported Proposition 8's definition of marriage as the union of a man and woman. Supporting counterfeit marriage is not a winning strategy. In a poll we commissioned, an overwhelming majority of Americans (58%) "would be more likely to vote for a presidential candidate who supports [marriage] amendments." To win, the DNC should stop trying to keep up with Obama and instead try to keep up with the Joneses--normal American families who, regardless of party, still place the utmost importance on man-woman marriage. Now that we know the DNC's priority is abolishing thousands of years of traditional marriage, I can't help but wonder where the RNC stands. Will we see a $25,000 check in defense of marriage? Efforts to Protect Marriage in Three Key States Leslie Smith CWFA July 29, 2008 In response to the radical ruling by activist judges in California, several states have placed marriage amendments on the November 2008 ballot to define marriage as a union between a man and a woman. California, Arizona, and Florida have all recognized the danger of allowing activist judges to make decisions for their citizens and have responded with their own respective amendments so the voices of the people can be heard. Pastors and religious leaders in all three states are banding together to support, strategize, and rally the troops so that traditional marriage and our religious freedoms are protected. Over 2,000 pastors will participate in a conference call on July 30 to discuss ways to motivate and educate their congregations and communities. Director of State Legislative Relations for Concerned Women for America (CWA), Michael Mears, says, “The ballot initiatives in Arizona, California, and Florida provide an opportunity for pro-family citizens to tell the courts and the nation that they have had enough of judicial activism. I constantly hear people say that if the courts are going to continue to rewrite the Constitution and the law, then ‘we the people’ have to do something about it. That’s the message that the people in these three states are sending.” The citizens of California have worked hard to get Proposition 8, California’s Marriage Protection Act, on the fall ballot. According to the official website, Protectmarriage.com, the ballot initiative “amends the California Constitution to provide that only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California.” Penny Harrington, Director of Legislation for CWA of California, states, “Proposition 8 is presently the most crucial battle of the culture war here. It is the responsibility of every pro-family individual in this state to understand and share the importance of protecting marriage by supporting Proposition 8 this November. We ask fellow believers to pray daily and make a commitment to help this effort in every way they can.” Many emphasize the critical role that California plays because of the strong influence it exerts over the rest of the nation. The premature crow of victory from San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, “As California goes, so goes the rest of the nation,” should caution those who downplay the importance of this critical time in history. Understanding that our religious liberties are at stake, pastors in California are leading the way in organizing a conference call to discuss strategy and to assist religious leaders in Florida and Arizona. Organizers are focusing on ways that the church, as a whole, can gain grassroots support for the initiative. “I think it’s refreshing that pastors in Arizona, California, and Florida are taking the lead on these initiatives in their states,” says Mears. “Frankly, I often wonder if our Christian leaders really understand the impact on their own churches if we fail.” For more information about the July 30 conference call, please visit the Pastor’s Rapid Response Team Monthly Conference Call website at www.protectmarriagesd.com. Lawmakers in Arizona voted last month to refer a state constitutional amendment on the definition of marriage to the November ballot. The proposed amendment states, “Only a union of one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in this state.” Sally Mikesell, State Director for CWA of Arizona, knows what this victory means. “The people of Arizona will be able to decide the future of marriage in their state,” says Mikesell. “Judges will not make the decision for the citizens as the activist California Supreme Court did. Hard work must be done in the months ahead to protect the sanctity of marriage.” Florida has similar wording in its Florida Marriage Protection Amendment (Amendment 2), which states, “Inasmuch as marriage is the legal union of only one man and one woman as husband and wife, no other legal union that is treated as marriage or the substantial equivalent thereof shall be valid or recognized.” The main difference of this amendment is that the wording is strong and specifically addresses the issue of civil unions. The official campaign website, Yes2Marriage.org, explains that, “The Amendment prohibits any other legal union that is treated as marriage or the substantial equivalent thereof from being valid or recognized as marriage.” CWA strongly supports the language of Amendment 2, which fully protects traditional marriage. Grassroots efforts are especially needed in Florida, where 60 percent of voters need to be in favor of the amendment for it to pass, in contrast to California, which needs a majority vote. For more information and to get involved, please visit the CWA in the States site where you can access links to our state sites in California, Arizona, and Florida. (www.cwfa.org)

Should Bush’s Surgeon General Pick Make the Cut? 7/18/2007 By J. Matt Barber We’re left not knowing where Dr. Holsinger stands on important hot-button issues. In July, The U.S. Senate held hearings on Dr. James Holsinger, President Bush’s Surgeon General nominee. Holsinger has been unfairly and viciously attacked by the left for both his religious views — he’s a Christian, heaven forbid — and for daring, in a 1991 paper he penned, to address the devastating medical consequences of the homosexual lifestyle. Those consequences are well documented — among other sources — by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and are irrefutable. During his testimony, Dr. Holsinger stated that he would resign if ever asked to place politics over science. Unfortunately, while addressing questions relative to hot-button issues such as homosexuality and destructive embryonic stem cell research (ESCR) this time around, Dr. Holsinger appeared to do just that. He appeared to place political correctness over scientific substance. When asked if he still believed that homosexual behaviors are “unhealthy” and “unnatural,” as he demonstrated in his 1991 paper, he played dodge ball and offered a series of non-answers. He clearly tried to distance himself from the paper by saying, “First of all, the paper does not represent where I am today. It does not represent who I am today.” What does that mean? Does it mean that Dr. Holsinger now believes that homosexual behaviors are “natural” and “healthy”? That’s certainly how the mainstream media is playing his response. It’s being widely reported that he has “disavowed” his prior position on homosexuality. But there are additional questions about Dr. Holsinger’s medical opinions. For instance, what is his position on ESCR and cloning? Statements he made in 2002 in support of relaxing restrictions on both ESCR and cloning concern many conservatives who oppose the destruction of innocent human life. That said, the White House has offered assurances that Dr. Holsinger is “pro-life indeed, and shares the President’s pro-life/culture-of-life view” on all matters, including ESCR and cloning. As of yet, however, we have no evidence of Dr. Holsinger’s purported pro-life ESCR/cloning conversion. Dr. Holsinger could have provided that evidence himself during his hearing. He chose not to. When asked whether restrictions on federal funding for ESCR should be lifted and whether he is generally opposed to ESCR, Holsinger indicated that he supports the President’s policy not to expand federal funding. He indicated that he was not currently familiar enough with ESCR to feel comfortable responding to questions. Again, we’re left not knowing where Dr. Holsinger stands on these important hot-button issues. Rather than taking advantage of the moment to educate the public — which is exactly what a Surgeon General is supposed to do — Dr. Holsinger seemed to succumb to intimidation tactics by extremist left-wing special interest groups, especially the powerful homosexual lobby. He capitulated to their demand that he remain politically correct rather than medically correct. That’s too bad. Lives are at stake here. Getting medical facts out can save lives. And finding those facts isn’t hard to do. Although medical facts aren’t very popular with the left (facts rarely are), those facts are readily available. Call me a pie-in-the-sky dreamer, but when asked by Senator Ted “flip-and-fly” Kennedy (D-Massachusetts) whether he still believes that homosexuality is “unnatural” and “unhealthy,” Dr. Holsinger could have said, “It doesn’t matter what I believe. Let’s see what the medical facts tell us. For instance, the CDC has revealed in its most recent 2005 report that male homosexuals account for at least 71 percent of all adult and adolescent males living with deadly HIV/AIDS. These numbers are up 11 percent from 2001 despite — if not due to — ‘comprehensive’ condom based ‘safe-sex’ education. “Furthermore,” says Holsinger in my pie-in-the-sky scenario, “astronomical HIV/AIDS statistics represent only one small aspect of the homosexual lifestyle — especially among males. CDC statistics also indicate that homosexuals are, by far, most susceptible to nearly all forms of sexually transmitted disease, as well as other lifestyle-related medical injuries. So yes, Senator Kennedy, homosexual behaviors are demonstrably unnatural and unhealthy.” Dr. Holsinger could have shared this information with the Senate committee. He didn’t. Instead, he dodged questions about homosexuality altogether. I was there. I heard it. And I was left unimpressed. To his credit, Dr. Holsinger did step up — to a degree — on another hot-button issue. When asked about the propriety and effectiveness of teaching abstinence in the context of sex education, Dr Holsinger made it clear that teaching abstinence is an effective way to reduce sexually transmitted disease and pregnancy. But again, on the issues of homosexual behavior and ESCR, the good doctor regrettably gave a poor performance. He failed to provide direct answers to direct questions, and for that reason, we’re left not knowing where he stands or how he’ll perform as Surgeon General. I think the American people deserve better than that. There’s still time for Dr. Holsinger to clear things up. It wouldn’t be that difficult. He could still publicly clarify where he stands on the aforementioned issues. I hope he will. Matt Barber is one of the "like-minded men" with Concerned Women for America. He is an attorney concentrating in constitutional law - now with Liberty Counsel.

Of course dear, all those homosexuals can be cured and will start to date your wives once the therapy is successful... ![]() If you look at it from a logical POV, the only people who have issues with gays should be women, since they are missing out on some great guys (in fact, many wonderful men are gay, alas, oh sod it, I agree, let's make it illegal!). If you want to save marriage, remove the vote for single people, make divorce fault based, punitive for the guilty party and only legal once the kids are adults and jail adulterers. View marriage as a contract between 2 people and their kids until they are adults, not as a romantic document between two loved up fools that the kiddies have to get lucky with (or else), and you may just get somewhere. Allow the kids to sue their parents for abandonment and also, for ruining their childhood with selfish antics. Make it illegal to have children out of wedlock and give those kids to adoption. All that would go a long way to restore sanity, but leave the gays alone, their right to marry is good every person deserves someone to share their lives with and the marriage will give them a family responsibility and allow them to bond without fear that they'll be ripped off or have to dispute the right to decide for their loved ones if the time comes. I'm actually wondering about the server and you guys here -- this stuff is quite way out there in terms of blind hatred, in 8 hours I'm the first person to pick at this rabid homophobic rant? Gah, slackers... ;-P

George & Orwell The Pompous Bigoted Pimps of Weimar Kalifornia's supreme Turkey Baster Creationist court have again betrayed the People and displayed the rank raw MISANDRY (Hatred of Men, Masculinity & Normal Heterosexuality) - that is the common denominator of our Weimar 'justice' system. Unlike the US Supreme court and its abominations such as Romer v. Evans (the 20th century analogy of the Dred Scott case promoting the spread of slavery) - the 'justices' / Child Pimps of the Weimar Kalifornia Supreme Court can be VOTED OUT OF OFFICE... As was done with former Chielf Justice Rose Bird and Associate Cruz Reynoso. Some might say that this would only open the way for a legislature truly not fit to pass gas to provide the long suffering citizens with even slimier judicial masters through the replacement appointment process. But when you look at the long record of Radical Activist MISANDRY of this Court - from the Turkey Baster Trio of cases promoting the SEPARATIST / NEO-EXTERMINATIONIST agenda of Dyke Misandry - and the LEGAL ELIMINATION OF MEN as Fathers... - To the Destruction of Marriage and the most recent ruling Destroying the most basic Rights of Conscience of Male citizens Not to be part of the POGROM OF EXTERMINATION of MEN that is the Dyke Agenda... Well - Just how much worse could a new bunch of pompous bigoted Turkey Baster Creationist Buffoons be - than the current clown court of Nightmarish Orwellian Hatemongers led by chief 'justice' Ronald McPimp and his Misandrist Minions. Best keep quiet about it though - Thought Crime Will Be Punishable (in the name of 'tolerance' of course) - In Rulings to be announced in the Near Future. Ohso Not merely the validity of experience but the very existence of external reality was tacitly denied by their philosophy the heresy of heresies was common sense. George Orwell 1984 On the Thought Police. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Top Calif. judge faces backlash over gay marriage By PAUL ELIAS Associated Press Writer 08/12/2008 SAN FRANCISCO—California Chief Justice Ronald George... legacy as gay rights pioneer was sealed May 15, when he heard the roar of a crowd gathered below his office as his majority decision legalizing same-sex marriage was announced... is enduring from gay marriage foes the very complaints of "judicial activism"... He will likely have to mount an aggressive and expensive campaign to retain his seat in the 2010 election. "Absolutely, Ron George should be thrown out for voting for gay marriage," said Mike Spence, president of the conservative California Republican Assembly. "He has a very radical view of what's a family." The marriage opinion surprised the legal community, which widely expected the court to uphold California's gay marriage ban, said Santa Clara University law professor Gerald Uelmen. "Most people thought his legacy would be the modernization of the courts," Uelmen said. "I think the gay marriage decision will now be his principal legacy." California's seven Supreme Court justices must be retained by voters every 12 years. Political conservatives vow to organize a campaign to oust him because of the gay marriage decision, though they haven't formally started raising money. Spence said his group and others will formally organize after the November election.

RADICAL HOMOSEX ATTACK ON MARRIAGE: With the latest betrayals of the Citizens by the Radical Activists of Weimar Kalifornia's Turkey Baster Creationist Courts, including the endorsement by one judge of Propaganda Arguments by attorney general jerry 'Moonbeam' brown designed to mislead the voters in the next election about Proposition #8... - I figure that starting a New Thread under an Accurate Title about this Hot Topic, without the baggage of the types of gaily Sanitized and Misleading Euphemisms that our Old Media hacks use as labels to try to censor and bias the debate with, was an appropriate act. With this title the connections (including financing) between Radical Leftist / Gender Feminist / Homosex Activists in other states (like the People's Republik of Mass) and the Attack on Society in Weimar Kalifornia can be shown more clearly; and will hopefully help the 'Vanilla' (clueless voters / taxpayers) wade through the blizzard of Old Media Pro-Gender Feminist / Homosex Propaganda that is the essence of their excremental 'reporting' of such issues, and which will only grow thicker and deeper with their desperation as the election looms closer. In addition - the inclusion of information usually Censored by the myopic seeing eye 'watchdogs' of our Bought and Paid For 'free press', will not only add true 'Diversity' to the viewpoints available to the masses - but really piss off the Resident Harpies of the Thought Police, which is always worth the price of admission IMNPHO. Best keep quiet about it though, wouldn't want to spread any "Ism-Obia" now, what with everything else going around and all. Ohso. In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act. George Orwell >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>> Fight over Prop. 8 Title Over, Real Fight Now Underway (ProtectMarriage.com) As you no doubt know, California Attorney General Jerry Brown succeeded in his effort to change the official ballot Title & Summary of Proposition 8 to a title he believes will bias voters to voting No. Despite heroic efforts by our legal team, the law gives great leeway to the Attorney General in these matters. Thus, Brown’s outrageous new Title, that Proposition 8 “Eliminates [the] “Right” of Same-Sex Couples to Marry” will appear on the ballot. While we think this Title is clearly intended to bias voters, we are still very confident of our ultimate success. Brown can change the Title, but can’t change the facts. Proposition 8 is 14 simple words: “Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid and recognized in California.” Voters will know that Proposition 8 is about restoring marriage and protecting the traditional definition of marriage, and they will vote YES! We will need to communicate very clearly to voters that Proposition 8 is about restoring marriage, not taking away “rights” that never existed...Prop. 8 Supporters Urged to Fight Back! In light of Jerry Brown’s efforts to defeat Proposition 8, the YES on Proposition 8 Campaign is urging supporters to Fight Back! Prop. 8 Continues Push for Volunteers In addition to urging supporters to donate, the YES on Proposition 8 Campaign is encouraging supporters to sign up as volunteers. We are organizing the largest grassroots campaign in the history of California to pass Proposition 8. Volunteers can choose to help in a variety of ways, all of which are important to protecting our children and restoring the definition of marriage to be between a man and a woman. If you haven’t already, please take a moment right to become a Proposition 8 volunteer! Prop. 8 Receives Endorsement of California Catholic Conference You probably know that Proposition 8 received the endorsement of the California Catholic Conference. But perhaps you missed their beautiful statement in support of marriage and of Proposition 8. In their statement, the California Catholic Conference wrote: The issue before us with Proposition 8 is "marriage"--an ancient, yet modern, human institution which pre-exists both Church and government. Marriage, history shows us, is intrinsic to stable, flourishing and hospitable societies. Although cultural differences have occurred, what has never changed is that marriage is the ideal relationship between a man and a woman for the purpose of procreation and the continuation of the human race. We welcome the support of the California Catholic Conference and people of all faiths in California. Vote Yes on Proposition 8! www.ProtectMarriage.com © 2008 ProtectMarriage.com.
