Re: Female TV celebrity in trouble over sex slur Then we have the overpaid bimbos and old leftie manginas, all nonebrities lacking a skerrick of dignity and honesty, casting demeaning remarks against the very type of chap who exemplifies those manly virtues; Intergity, Authenticity, Courage, Dignity. Simply because they lack the very qualities they demean in men.
Re: Female TV celebrity in trouble over sex slur I am more concerned about the feminising of the Australian military after watching the 7.30 Report last night, in which a senior army officer spoke of his concerns about the 'under representation' of women and ethnic groups in the armed forces. This sort of comment from an intelligent man IS worthy of anger and protest! antimisandry.com http://antimisandry.com/feminist-mis...#ixzz1nrpCE4rU More concerned? I think it is high time women and 'ethnicly diverse' people shoulder their share of defense. The Army person you are angry with is mearly looking at a difficult issue. White men have been carrying everyone else for far too friggin' long. Of even greater concern to me is the 'assumptions' about military culture when troops misbehave. That is the current hysteria in Oz. But it completly ignores the fact that most troops in the military are between 18 and 24 y/o. Their 'culture' is 18 years civilian, largely 'nurtured' and 'educated' by women, and just a few years in the military, which has the burden of undoing those 18 years of crap and instilling some manly virtue. Then we have the overpaid bimbos and old leftie manginas, all nonebrities lacking a skerrick of dignity and honesty, casting demeaning remarks against the very type of chap who exemplifies those manly virtues; Intergity, Authenticity, Courage, Dignity.
Re: Female TV celebrity in trouble over sex slur I think another issue is the double standard. If it was that both women and men were the targets of slurs equally, then it wouldn't be so bad. However, when only women are protected, it promotes the view that men are acceptable targets. If it's acceptable to make tasteless comments at the expense of a man, then it should be acceptable to do the same for women. If women are protected, then men should be protected. Either way, it needs to be consistent.
Re: Female TV celebrity in trouble over sex slur Quote from Percy With respect, it is precisely because even the talentless bimbos and the lame-duck manginas can get away with this that I get very angry. This a significant part of the issues we worry about. This as an ANTI-MISANDRY site. My point is that this ignorant bimbo is probably too dumb to have realised what she was saying. And let's be honest, they were DUMB ramblings! So while it is perfectly reasonable to condemn her for those comments, let's not go over the top. This would actually mean that we credit her with some intelligence. And remember, she's a Channel 10 presenter!! Getting angry and protesting loudly is what feminits do. Let's not be like them, let's remain calm and maintain some dignity, just as Corporal Roberts-Smith has already done in rising above the controversy and putting this issue behind him. I am more concerned about the feminising of the Australian military after watching the 7.30 Report last night, in which a senior army officer spoke of his concerns about the 'under representation' of women and ethnic groups in the armed forces. Re: Female TV celebrity in trouble over sex slur Quote from Bigger Brother So let's not get too concerned about the comments of a talentless, empty-headed bimbo and a pensionable has-been reporter. There are more important issues to worry about. BB, I think you're missing the point slightly here. You and I might think this, but when you sit down and are fed this shit day in, day out, some people tend to believe it as reality, which any reasonable, thinking person would not. This is why it is OK in so many women's minds that it is OK to be nasty to the male half of our population, because TV says it is OK. I'd personally accept nothing less than this woman's sacking, as that is what would happen had the genders been reversed. Mind you, who ever heard of a female war hero? I am reminded of the Alisdair Thompson "affair" over here last year some time, where he (the CEO of Business NZ) made the awkward statement that "women were less productive because of their need to take time off around "that time of the month". I'll never forget the response that came from all sides, pretty much demanding he be sacked and made an example of, because his "hatred towards women". Sure, he did take the tiger by the tail by saying a stupid thing like that, but the response to that statement was often worse in some cases than what he originally said.
Re: Female TV celebrity in trouble over sex slur HAH! I squeezed in a comment. outdoors #114 07:15 am Mar 01 2012 Not surprising that these comments would come from a woman in a country that has proven itself to have an anti-male,anti-father agenda. I am sorry for any man who dies for a country that hates them for their gender, yet expects them to do what the country asks.
Re: Female TV celebrity in trouble over sex slur Quote from Celtic Druid Regardless of politics and peoples stance on war, TMOTS demonstrated how the publics moral barometer is seriously adrift from what really matters in a positive, productive and functioning society. Which was essentially the fucking point. Hate the war (or the system) not the fucking soldier.... Again, your fucking welcome. TMOTS

Re: Female TV celebrity in trouble over sex slur One of my close relatives is a vet of the gulf war and my advice to him when he wanted to join the army was "do it for your own personal reasons, as your own choice, do not delude yourself that you are fighting for your country or the folk in this cuntry because the godvernment is simply using men as a resource to fight the states battles". The armed forces are always keen to get young men, as they know full well that when men are older, they are much wiser in many ways and may well be less willing to fight for their cuntry when they have experienced how their pussywhipped cuntry leaders prefers to fight its own men..
Re: Female TV celebrity in trouble over sex slur [QUOTE=themanonthestreet;286166]Something as frivolous as Kim Kardashian's stupid wedding [and short-lived marriage] was shoved down our throats, yes we honor and publicize the TRASH. QUOTE] A wonderful post !!! The reason that TRASH is pushed onto the public, is so that they will never stop, and ask serious questions about life. In this day, no one dies for their country, rather, they die so that the ruling elite can make even more money !!! The Iraq war was was obviously about OIL !!! As Henry Kissinger famously said after Vietnam: "Military men are just dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy".
Re: Female TV celebrity in trouble over sex slur Quote from themanonthestreet With all due respect; as a Vet I find this type of response quite distasteful. War is the grinder of men. Caring for our Vets has taken a nose dive in the past few years. You may or may not agree with the policies nor the war itself, but caring for the MEN that put their lives on the line everyday, so that folks like these readers - and you - can say what you want.... well. You're welcome. And speaking of prospectives..... Whitney Houston dead and flags are flown at half staff for her....she killed herself with drugs and booze.... Charlie Sheen is 45 and his story is all over the news because he is a substance abuser, an adulterer, sexually promiscuous and obnoxious. Lindsay Lohan is 24 and her story is all over the news because she is a celebrity drug addict and thief. Something as frivolous as Kim Kardashian's stupid wedding [and short-lived marriage] was shoved down our throats, yes we honor and publicize the TRASH. While........ Are all US Marines that gave their lives last month for you. There is no nationwide coverage; not even a mention of their names. How's THAT for fucking prospective... TMOTS ETA; this was an email I had gotten yesterday.... TMOTS, I find no joy in saying what I am about to say. Yet, I feel it needs to be said. Soldiers do not fight for their country. And they certainly don't fight for anyone's freedom, especially the people back home. Our freedoms here in the USSA since 9/11 have gotten fewer and fewer. And military-vet cops with PTSD still act as though they are patrolling the streets of Baghdad. But my objective is not to criticize vets. It's to be honest about WHY they fight: they are programmed by their culture to be used as cannon fodder and/or they have no other economic opportunities. Regarding the media, yes what they do with vets is disturbing. But the MSM is part of the System. They were literally bought and sold a century ago. Displaying the graphic and heart-rending images and facts of war would not be good for the cause, i.e. The Military-et. al.-Industrial Complex. We should not be surprised when they do what you describe. It's their job. I had an interesting conversation with a feminist in Korea once. She was blathering on and on about women's rights. I simply asked her if Korean feminists were fighting to make the military draft equal, meaning men would no longer be drafted, women would be drafted too, or only women would be drafted to make up for the years of men defending the ROK. She acted embarrassed, said "No", and changed the subject. The best thing we can do for our freedom, military vets, and potential military vets is tell the truth about war. Black Hawk Down last speech - YouTube The thing is, if it really is just "about the men next to you", then why go through all that training and go overseas to fight in some war that you have no interest in just to fight and defend some guy you would have never known or cared about had you not joined the military? Why not just stay home and fight for the men next to you there?
Re: Female TV celebrity in trouble over sex slur The woman makes a valid point. One that I have heard from many vets personally. Many vets wonder why they bothered fighting for a cuntry that shits on them and shits on men as a whole too, often using the charateristics of brave men against them.. She paid the price for opening her aperture..

Re: Female TV celebrity in trouble over sex slur Quote from Bigger Brother It's is disgraceful that a war hero can be the subject of such demeaning comments. However, I would like to offer some perspective. This was on Channel 10, one of the lowest rating stations and not known for its quality programming. It was on 'The Circle', a trailer-trash afternoon programme watched by stay-at-home single mothers and unemployed bogans (chavs). The IQ of its presenters approximates their bust size. George Negus is an ex-60 Minutes reporter whose previous show was axed by the network last year due to low ratings, so he is desperate for some exposure. So let's not get too concerned about the comments of a talentless, empty-headed bimbo and a pensionable has-been reporter. There are more important issues to worry about.
