What's a good way to advertise your music?
Anyone know any good ways to advertise your music if you're an aspiring entrepreneur and artist?
When I do this, and I know I will, it will be comparable to the lame learning to walk, the blind being enabled to see and the suffocated breathing again. The sky isn't the limit; there are no limits.

My mother is a musician. I'm sorry to say this, but you'll have to do everything yourself. Big music made sure of that.

Doing it myself doesn't bother me but how exactly do I "do it myself"? I'm looking for some pointers.

I know people who have bought music of people they liked, having first downloaded a free MP3 track on one of the many sites for that purpose. You might want to look into finding a site or two that enables you to upload MP3s, giving one or two pieces away that are representative of your music, and selling others: just try an Internet search for "free MP3".
